The plan: extend the retirement age for full benefits, slash the benefits, make minimal changes to health care, allow bankruptcy judges to condemn people to working just to pay off credit cards owned by banks that were allowed to loot the treasury under Bush, keep COLAs artificially low by using bogus CPI figures that under-report the true inflation in the economy and then sit back and watch as old people start dying at work, on the way to work, or in their homes during a.) heat waves a la Chicago a few years ago or b.) bitterly cold winters because they can’t afford to pay outrageous utility bills for heat.
