> Uh, no one freaking lives there?

Before making too much fun of ND, remember they have nukes.

The NW corner of the state, especially the oil country in the Minot/Williston area, is booming. My brother’s a building contractor there and he can’t hire enough workers. He has more work than he can handle.

I was traveling through the area last month and had a hell of a time even finding a motel room in Minot. They’re all full of oil workers.

This has background on Torture School US style.

A Thoroughly Un-American Institution

Today, June 24, 2009, Congress will vote on an amendment to the Defense Authorization Act which would require the School of the Americas/WHINSEC to release to the public the names, ranks, countries of origin, courses taken and dates of attendance of all the students and instructors at the institute.

The School of the America’s, renamed WHINSEC, is an organization founded with the explicit purpose of teaching its students the science of torture and interrogation techniques. Its records have been concealed, and for the most part its dealings shrouded in mystery.

Loyalists to Palin, including Kristol, were outraged at Purdum’s piece, believing it to be another example of what they see as elite media contempt for the Wasilla native.

Wonder if “Loyalists to Palin, including Kristol” were as outraged about Purdum’s piece on Bill Clinton.

I didn’t mean anything specific, Fd……just that the illustration makes it easy to see the locations vs lottsa words. Sorry about the lack of clarity.

.
Michael “Savage” Weiner may replace Osama “Bin” Laden as Public Enemy Number One, if he keeps terroristically threatening people. But I hear the wingnuts are hoping Al Qaeda will strike again while Obama is President. Cuz that was so good for them last time, politically.

Are those FEMA camps ready yet?

Off to swim to the great capitalist cesspool.

RevBev, if, repeat if, Angela’s hiding just go into the room, sit on the floor and talk softly to her for a bit and leave. She’ll come out eventually once she feels safe but watch her around doors leading to the outside. Hopefully she felt at home as soon as she was out of the carrier.

Be good to yourselves, and all other living things.

Namaste
