Apparently he had hounded her since Jan uary about going down to Argentina to “break up” but she sensibly nixed any personal meeting. So he lied to her and claimed he was going hiking. The legal and administrative complexities are myriad. Does Jenny get to keep residing in the Governor’s mansion? Who pays for Sanford’s room in Motel 6 ? We let the bad guys take over morality! It was the inherent nobility and Good- Good with the capital intended- that drew me to the left. Seriously.
