Thu Jun 18, 2009 at 07:13:42 AM PDT

On Tuesday, the three executives from the murder-by-spreadsheet insurance industry such as UnitedHealth, Assured Health, and WellPoint gathered in Washington to tell lawmakers that they’ll continue CANCELLING INSURANCE FOR SICK AMERICANS!

This is known as a “recission” policy, in which insurance companies cancel insurance policies of Americans such as those diagnosed with breast cancer, lymphona, and other 1000 such conditions like acne and pregnancy.

The CIA is recruiting people that have been laid off from Wall Street.

That should work out well. Put all the criminals together and then put them in charge of U.S. spying and undercover operations.

Patrick said the agency would welcome worthy applicants from Wall Street, whose reputation has been tarnished by the financial crisis and revelations of lavish lifestyles and multi-million dollar bonuses…

So join the CIA and you will have the government protect your lavish lifestyle, and will give you the opportunity to gratify your most devious perversions. Should anyone object, the President will have the DOJ defend you in court, claiming “national security.”

Crist signs bill to kill Florida’s illegal pill trade.

The SP Times has a section where you can see the mugshots and offenses of people arrested in the local counties in the last 24 hours. The number of people arrested for doctor shopping or selling the drugs is astounding.

It’s so wet in the mid-Hudson that the slugs are trying to get into the house. I’ve picked a couple off the storm door, though none have made it inside yet (at least I haven’t seen any inside). And in order to get to the storm door, they have to cross a 6′ wide concrete porch floor.

The rich use the resources and political infrastructures of whatever country they are from to protect and expand their wealth. It’s true for the rich in the U.S., France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Gabon, etc.. I suppose it’s a Marxist view that class trumps nationality.
