Good morning, pups. It’s Collins, Blow and Herbert today. Ms. Collins writes about “Mr. Dodd’s Best/Worst Year” and says that despite recent remarkable legislative achievements, Senator Christopher Dodd is in political hot water back home in Connecticut. Mr. Blow addresses “Hate in a Cocoon of Silence,” and says society needs to do a much better job of creating an environment where hateful beliefs are never ignored and suspicious behavior never goes unreported. Mr. Herbert, in “The Way We Are,” says the bullet that killed the security guard at the Holocaust museum was a reminder of the continuing menace of bigotry that pervades this country.

Here they are.

The coffee and tea are ready, and I’ve got banana pancakes this morning. The first eggplant buds showed up yesterday, and the bell pepper plants and tomatoes seem to be doing well. Fingers crossed… Have a great day.

We unfortunately didn’t do anything like those operatic and classical pieces in my choir where i was a 2nd. I had remembered off hand you mentioning that you were one as well sometime back last year. *grin*

But we still had our share of difficult stuff. It’s rather fun walking that line between the altos and the 1st sopranos. I’d never realized just how difficult that position is, even if it doesn’t get all the ‘glory’. But it was a lot of fun, those years.
