MoDo, in “Can the One Have Fun?” says what a relief to have an urbane, cultivated, curious president who’s out and about, engaged in the world. The Moustache of Wisdom is in Beirut. In “Ballots Over Bullets” he says Lebanon’s government is far from being stable. Nevertheless, on election day, the Lebanese mainstream, armed only with ballots, not bullets, won.
