The proposal, in a draft of legislation that would be submitted to Congress, has not been publicly disclosed. It was circulated to officials under restrictions requiring secrecy. People who have read or been briefed on it said it had been presented to Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates by an administration task force on detention.

if this report is true, i want to know the names of the people on the “administration task force on detention.”

This is NOT the President I voted for.
I’m not bashing him for not fixing everything in the first 100 days.
But the actions he’s taking and HAS taken, or directed his DOJ, etc, to take on his admin’s behalf are just making me heartsick. IOW, I’m VERY unhappy with what he’s actually DONE so far.
