I expect a number of GOP Senators to cross over — Lugar, Collins, Snowe, maybe even Hatch. But the Southern Taliban? No way.</p> <p>Sessions, by asking for the maximum time to “research” will wind up shooting the GOP in the foot. Their best option is to confirm her and get it out of the media.
