Did you see the good doctor yesterday suggest that it would be a good idea to fold the Department of Agriculture and the FDA and the CDC? I guess diseased peanuts (and all manner of ~~tainted~~ Business-friendly products) are a gift from the Gods, and the ‘Mer’kan people are deservin’.

Libertarians don’t make sense?
I guess that letting people control their lives as long as they don’t hurt anybody else doesn’t make sense? Letting the average person start a business without paying expensive regulatory fees to the government doesn’t make sense? Letting the average person do work on their house without paying bribe money AKA permit fees to the local government doesn’t make sense? Letting people keep the money they earn doesn’t make sense? Letting people earn a living without being punished by spending a lot of time filling out forms and giving personal information to the IRS doesn’t make sense? Stopping the war on drugs doesn’t make sense?
What does make sense?

Ron Paul is a gold standard guy from way back. He’d abolish the Fed entirely and has said so many times.

Where they differ with Ron Paul (the bill’s author) is Paul would have us return to specie backed currency.

Grijalva is a good guy on health care too; was one of the HR 676 co-sponsors who joined activists in a meeting with Steny Hoyer last week.
