Oh dear, oh dear, dear dear:

Scientists have unveiled a 47-million-year-old fossilised skeleton of a monkey hailed as the missing link in human evolution.

The search for a direct connection between humans and the rest of the animal kingdom has taken 200 years – but it was presented to the world today at a special news conference in New York.

Now, I’m just guessing that the reporter in this story for Sky News (Rupert!) may be adding a bit to the findings ("missing link in human evolution" — drama major buddy?) , but there was still was something truly stunning and little reported.

It was found holding what appeared to be teabags.

(note: In comments GOPnot4me links to PZ Myers explanation of the actual importance of the find.)
