I can’t wait for the Howard Kurtz column this week .. decrying Olbermann calling Marcy a journalist

After looking at the timeline on the torture issue that Marcy has put together, Kurtz can decry this if he assails our not so emptywheel’s credibility and chops as a true journalist.

We need to find a rugby analogy to honor her rugby talents.

And wouldn’t it be nice if a Certain Special Prosecutor could throw in a few bucks . . . and a “mash note” as well.

Ok, Jane, I met part of your challenge, just put in the promised $20 from my comment at 54…

from my dwindling ‘clear out the clutter and fix things’ fund…but things are getting more user-friendly around here, so, good way to watch it dwindle.

Said in the paypal comments–that is pretty much what Marcy does, ‘clear the clutter and fix things’, so, it’s not off-budget…

I’m glad to see our donations are being put to good use . I’d hate to see the Lake lose a talented journalist like Marcy Wheeler.

Marcy’s been an amazing journalist for some time now; it’s just that the official media is starting to take notice. WilliamOckham’s a great commenter. I always hope to see one or more of his comments in one of Marcy’s excellent articles. Congrats to FDL and everyone here who makes it a very special place.

Ah, good times; just about 20 of us ‘regulars’ and freep keeping the offensive trolls in check. (Well, except for the idjo, who he may have kept around for entertainment value).

IIRC, some troll on an earlier thread had been goading marcy’s readers: implying that using screen names was just gutless, and I’d answered with something about ‘anonymous’ when I actually meant ‘pseudoymous’ 8-0
Sooooooo humiliating to make these errors… (sigh).

Ah, well… not the first time I’ve mixed my metaphors, muddled my wurdz, or otherwise humiliated the ol’ screen name. So it goes…

What a sweet milestone this is tonight.
Can’t believe how fast two years have flown (!).

So heartwarming to see Marcy’s hard work and your phenomenal attention to detail (and logic) making an impact.
