What is depressing to me is how ALL Americans don’t see that these two are utter cowards. From Rush and his pathetic attempts to get out of the draft, to Cheney’s utter cowardice after 9-11. And by the way, THAT should prove we are safer under Obama than anything. When Cheney was in charge, that blowhard was afraid to come out of his undisclosed location. Now that Obama is in charge, he comes out. Why do you suppose that is?

And there will be another terrorist attack. This year, next year, 5 years? Who knows? Can’t Americans ever be the slightest bit brave? Decide to stand up to the terrorists, like Europe does. Some say 9/11 was bigger than ANY terrorist attack in the history of time, but it is all relative. I live in CA — 9/11 didn’t affect ME personally at all. But think of other terrorist attacks in Europe. Even if not as large as 9/11, people WERE killed, terrorized. And there, even that DAY, and the days after, people went about their business. Their laws and their country’s morals didn’t change. Only in America.

Buck up, Americans. Stop being scared. Terrorists WILL hit our shores again sometime. Just don’t act like you have the 8 years since 9/11. Live your lives! Go about your business.

Probably the most beneficial course I took in high school [this being the dark ages BC (before computers) *G*] was typing.

My kids [now 21 & 23] still cannot believe there was an age “before computers.”

I regale them with tales of how once one had to completely retype a page or even paper if “revisions” got more extensive than “erasable typing paper” or the wonderous “self-correcting Selectric” could handle.

They really go ape-shit when they learn ole Mom once lived when there was no tv and slide rules were used in physics class instead of calculators.

I think we changed it to: “foul-mouthed fem/gent bloggers” after it came out. ;-)

Dutson was mainly referring to Jane, Christy, and the other women who write here who were being mean to Suzie-Q Collins.
