It’s MoDo, Kristof and Rich in the Times today. MoDo is getting “cute” again. In “Put Aside Logic” she gurgles that just as Spock swoops in to rescue the world from red matter in J. J. Abrams’s dazzling new “Star Trek,” imagine Barack Spock rescuing read matter for the world. In order to add gravitas to what she has to say her <strike>column</strike> piece of crap comes complete with a picture of Barack Obama all done up with Spock ears and a Spock haircut… Mr. Kristof writes about “The Killer No One Suspects,” and says that pneumonia is an illness that is easy to treat, yet more than two million children die each year. Mr. Rich covers the same beat as MoDo, but manages to do it without being an asshole or using “clever” visual aids.
