Sir Empathize-A-Lot

Graphic by twolf

Michael Steele’s hilarious descent into incomprehensible mad gibberish continues, as he attacks Obama for using the word "empathy" in reference to judicial nominees.  This may be his finest work yet:

I don’t need some judge sitting up there feeling bad for my opponent because of their life circumstances or their condition. And short changing me and my opportunity to get fair treatment under the law. Crazy nonsense empathetic. I’ll give you empathy. Empathize right on your behind. Craziness.

WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN.  Structurally, it resembles smack talk (i.e., "get medieval on your ass"), but it doesn’t actually make any sense. "Empathize with your behind" I could understand, especially coming from someone who’s full of shit and kind of an asshole, but I just can’t figure out how one might empathize on something without recourse to several extra spatial dimensions.

Argh, I can’t dwell on it, it makes my brain sad.  Steele’s other bizarro outbursts were at least arse- er, parseable.  If you need a refresher or just feel nostalgic, Think Progress has a great compilation, plus an inventory of his 100 Days Of Failure, to which I say to them: Please Stop.  The most inept RNC Chair ever, and you’re trying to get him fired?  You are ruining it for everybody, you selfish selfish bastards.
