With her horrid experience at the Republican convention, she’d be first in line to discuss this. It was dated March 26, 2009, so maybe she doesn’t know yet. Send her an e-mail, maybe?

Hate to gab and run, but I must. Catch ya later… The dreaded paper shredder calls. Today’s special is old grading records from the teacher in the family. Eww. The stories they could tell!

I love spring rain, even when it’s cold. Don a poncho and splash away like a kid. We had our rain yesterday, and I do believe it saved my hash. The day before, I’d split up a whole bunch of bee balm and purple coneflower plants I’d sunk into the veg. garden to divide and multiply (cheap trick to frustrate the nursery grower down the road, heh). They did indeed. and were duly set out to bloom for the flutterbyes and hummers later in the summer. The nice rain kept them so perky you can’t even tell they were just moved.

Hi MM. Good day to sit in the sun? Ours is breaking pretty, and full of singing birds. Bummer. I gotta work inside. So I sneak over to pass notes back and forth and hope teacher doesn’t notice. My bad. *g*

Did the city have nesting Peregrine Falcons perchance? If I were a dove, I’d fly into a glass building full force also if one a those were on my tail. In fact the falcons have sometimes met untimely ends the same way. Imagine yourself pulling up out of a 200mph+ dive at a window, protected by an armored suit of feathers.

David Gregory is unwatchable

amen. eeeeewwwww. How can such an idiotic grown man be so thoroughly enamored by his own “cute factor”. It’s obscene.

Mourning Doves are the jet fighters of the bird world. Sparrows = more like a Cessna putt putt. Dove might be a newbie scared up suddenly by our friendly neighborhood Cooper’s Hawk, latter of which luvs him some dove as much as eCAHN loves her bacon ‘n eggs. Doves and sparrows around here need every ounce of gitup ‘n go they can muster, either that or a sharp eye. The locals usually are very hard for the hawk to surprise. Newbies not so much.

Don’t get me started on the horrors of tall glass buildings. The carnage during migration season is appalling. The reflective walls fool low-flying night migrants. very sad to this ornithologist. *sniffle*

And if you’re gonna line up people to talk about the flu, make it Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, Rear Admiral Anne Schuchat, and Laurie Garrett. At least they know what they are talking about.
