I don’t think the GOPs would ever give RGJoe the deal Harry Reid gave Spectre: to treat him as if his entire Senate service since 1980 has been as a Democrat. This threatens some committee chairmen, although not Leahy at JComm, thank goodness!

Be sure to stop by this Sunday’s Book Salon about The Difference, in which the author posits a benefit from diversity that goes way beyond anything I ever understood. In fact, he proves the theory that diversity in groups of less gifted individuals is better than a group of similar gifted individuals. It’s really amazing, with lots of cool charts and tables, too, for those who like that kind of thing.

Bottomline here, a senator with nearly 30 years seniority looked at the tealeaves and said, “The GOP has gone to HEll! I need a new party if I want to continue as a senator!!”

How many other senators and representatives are out there tonight ordering up new polls and thinking over the options?

The “Party of ‘NO!’” can’t win outside the stupid zones and we’ll se more coming to their senses. Even morons don’t want Limburgerbreath to be their leader.
