What I do know is that the Rethugs have lost control of the narrative. That is fatal. The whole Republican scheme of government rested on controlling the news cycle. They mastered the method under Reagan, and brought it to perfection under Gingrich. We all know the method: the Friday news dump; the bright shining object; the coordinated talking points. It worked; until reality finally imposed itself. They don’t know how to do anything else, and it is literally driving them crazy.
