"Just Keep Walking" Nooners doesn’t like all this finger-pointing and assigning blame.

Hearings, commissions or prosecutors would suck all the oxygen out of the room and come to obsess the capital, taking focus off two actual, immediate and pressing emergencies, the economy and the age of terror. Hearings, especially, would likely tear up the country as we descended into opposing camps. They would damage or burden America’s intelligence services, and likely result in the abuse of those who acted from high motives, having been advised their actions were legal.

Right. Hearings are damaging and counterproductive.

Unless we’re trying to figure out how the Democrats and the blacks crashed the economy.

…when the economy came crashing down, "nowhere did we see a board come out and say: ‘This is what happened, these are the decisions these particular people made, and this was the result. They are no longer a part of our organization.’…We did not see congressmen get on television with charts and eviscerate their organization and say, ‘These were the men who in 2003 allowed Freddie and Fannie unlimited rein over mortgage securities.’…There is no one in national leadership who could convincingly "assign blame," and no one "who could or would accept it."

This is a new record for Nooners — a total 180 on the virtues of televised eviscerations and blame-assigning during the "age of terror" — in less than 50 days!

Just remember: hearings about Democrats, good. Hearings about Republicans, bad.
