This again.

On NBC’s "Today" show, Gingich warned, "Everywhere in Latin America, enemies of America are going to use the picture of Chavez smiling and being with the president as proof that Chavez is now legitimate that he is acceptable."

McPalin (and Hillary, for that matter) loudly and repeatedly criticized Obama for saying he’d meet with Hitler Ahmadinejad and Castro during the campaign. The country yawned, then enthusiastically installed Obama in the White House. So why Gingrich & Co. think this is a politically useful line of attack — after it’s failed twice — is anyone’s guess.

Also, since "smiling and being with" adversarial world leaders is now the new benchmark for unacceptable, I expect Gingrich & Co. to issue stern retroactive denunciations of the following.
