This is really going to upset such foreign policy "geniuses" as Frank Gaffney, Michael Ledeen and Joe the Plumber — so it sounds good:
The Obama administration and its European allies are preparing proposals that would shift strategy toward Iran by dropping a longstanding American insistence that Tehran rapidly shut down nuclear facilities during the early phases of negotiations over its atomic program, according to officials involved in the discussions.
The Bush approach of waving his finger, invading Iran’s neighbors and occupying them incompetently while Israel or America alternatively threatened to turn Tehran into glass has worked about as well as any other Bush policy. So one can only imagine the tweets that will emerge from the pork sausage-fingers of Newt Gingrich about negotiating with countries that he thinks would look so good as rubble — in the name of peace, of course.

Just wait ’til John Bolt-on hears we have allies again. Oh, the horror.
Newt will say, “Mr. Obama had only until the fall or the end of the year to “completely end” the production of uranium in Iran.” Exactly as he’s told. Word for word. What else?
Good morning. Oh, yes, heads are going to explode.
Good morning, pups. Oh, frabjous day! Bobo is still off. Mr. Herbert, in “The American Way,” says since Sept. 11, 2001, nearly 120,000 Americans have been killed in nonterror homicides, most committed with guns. Yet the idea of doing something about the insane number of guns is a nonstarter.
Here he is.
The coffee, tea and hot chocolate are ready, and I’ve got bagels and cream cheese this morning. We got some heavy rain last night, with thunder, lightning and wind, and may get some more today. I think we may have caught up with the rain shortage now. The jasmine is going wild, and has to be “corralled” and encouraged to keep to the fence almost daily. Otherwise it tries to make forays into the veggie beds, or to investigate the driveway. Have a great day.
here’s what’s funny, they are actually saying obaam should follow the rediculous and idiotic approach of the most failed president in our history
Remind again to never piss off driftglass:

One could only wish that BO could show the same amount of common sense in getting rid of the same financial policies that have shaken the world. When it comes to domestic financial policies he has shown all the balls of a eunuch.
Good morning everyone.
Marion, I made your oatmeal lace cookies. They are fabulous. Thanks for the recipe.
I fear he is in the pockets of the bankers now
O, horror….we should have to hear anything he has to say.
Good Morning, Marion: I hope you had a happy Easter. Thank you again for your material.
Just to add about the picture….Our Pres. “sans” coat and tie sent Ingraham into her Max-crazy world. She wanted him hunting Easter eggs in coat & tie.
I happen to catch a little of Hannity last night, and he was hell bent on pushing “HIS” facts that the president was not responsible for the rescue of the captain of the pirated ship.
Everyone of his guest were like saying hey wait a minute the man is the president, even Bernard Goldberg of a people was defending the president,he had to turn to van sustran for some back up.
And the first words out her mouth was “that there was a new sherrif in town”talking about the “navy seals”Don’t normally watch his show but I’m glad I caught that one as they say it was “PRICELESS”
Who?
Seriously, members of the last Administration who can be prosecuted, should be.
And the rest should be ignored, left to mumble their complaints to the bartender who will pretend to care so long as the tips keep flowing.
So Jonah Goldberg steps in a pile for praising Obama over hostage rescue.
I keep hoping Barbara will show up soon so we can congratulate her on the Franken story and hear her comments.
Pamela Geller interviews John Bolton. I’m still waiting for Susan Rice to get the same treatment.
The Republicans will no doubt go ballistic over Spanish being spoken at the Cuba policy announcement.
Fortunately, there are still some corners of the American economy
that have so far escaped the brutal centralized planning of the Obama administration:
Exxon’s CEO Gets Raise
No doubt Limbaugh starts each day with WWGD. What would Goebbels do?
He is making the rounds, on with Laura last week. She praised him profusely
I was shocked and surprised yesterday to hear right wingers Mike Gallagher and Howie Carr speaking in favor of President Obama’s handling of the Maersk situation. Gallagher said it wasn’t easy for him, but in the end, he said the President handled the whole thing correctly. What the extreme right wingers don’t want to acknowledge is the only way a shot could have been fired was with the permission of the commander in chief. Some wingers are having a hard time dealing with this fact. One on my blog is saying President Obama had no right to go over Congress’ head on this one. LOL I’m telling you…the right wing movement is nothing but Dumb & Dumber leading the Dumbest!
mornin’, attaturk — I always look forward to your posts! Thank you for your “voice” to launch the day.
This is genuinely encouraging news. I feel another case of Obama Whiplash Syndrome coming on.
As infuriating as Obama may be so much of the time, he has the capacity to listen to reason and — as in this case — sometimes even act on it.
Don’t worry, we’ll just send Pam Oshry Geller out to interview him again.
Notice what a tough time Bolton has trying to look Pam in the eye?
