Spitz sounded good on the tele yesterday and I think he would be a good choice to run the FTC or other regulatory agencies with enforcement muscle. He seems to have his head screwed on correctly as far as policy issues are concerned. Good to see him hitting on it out in in the sunlight.

Obi seems to be waltzing right off the cliff with his break dancing buds Summers, Geitherner and Rubin. He’s letting the bad guys do penance and fix it. That’s a lotta trust there Obi and no real signs of changing the culture in the beltway. But he tawks good, don’t he?

I love the idea of Spitzer in as Treasury Secretary, but we all know what the neocons and the conservadems will say in unison: “He slept with a prostitute! My eyes! My eyes! We can’t have him any where near the Treasury! He can’t be trusted!”.

Of course, when Wall Street was trying to screw America up the ass, Spitzer was the guy who went after them. Spitzer would be fantastic.

Morning All,
Spitzer said he didn’t want to publicly attack people but rather wanted to fix the system. Me I want people in jail.

Tghe tea party at the Lake Eola ampitheater in Orlando was a great, wonderful suck-cess. And what a well behaved crowd! As requested by local authorities there was no teabagging in the lake.

“This is maybe the greatest single gathering of God-fearing patriots in the history of Orlando, Florida,” local conservative radio host Bud Hedinger, who emceed the event, told the crowd. God-fearing patriots??? how did I miss it.

This movement is giving birth to some great, creative, original sloganeering:
The attendees, many of whom said they’d heard about the rally on Hedinger’s radio show, brandished flags and homemade signs bearing slogans such as “Repeal the pork or our bacon is cooked” and “Obama lied, liberty died.”

Here’s the link to the interview with Fareed

Former Governor of New York Eliot Spitzer talks with Fareed about the AIG controversy, the economic crisis, and his involvement in the prosecution scandal that led to his resignation from office.

spitzer for special prosecutor or even sec. i’d rather have someone with someone like roubini with deep understanding of economic issues and previous experience at treasury.

most importantly summers must go. he is, imo, the real problem. geithner, as bad as he is, is a side show in comparison.

while i’m dreaming. stiglitz to replace summers. greenberger for sec. born for cftc. krugman stays where he is. he has been too far behind the curve but is v good at explaining things via his nyt column.

I’m loving the idea of Spitzer forcing chastity belts on Wall Street after getting the Congress to bring them all to Planned Parenthood for a workup along with pamphlets explaining how they go forward. LOL

Okay, going to work now laughing my ass off once again!

Have a good day everyone. Or try to. It’s only been 2 months since President Obama took office, so don’t get caught up in the irrational paranoia of the right wingers. They hate Obama and will attach themselves to any leach wanting to suck his blood to kill him. See? They have no ideas at all in how to fix the economy or Wall Street. Remember that. I asked who they wanted to fill Tim Geithner’s shoes and I was called a ‘cu*t’.

obama said he was against the income tax on these million dollar bonuses

I am amazed at some of the decisions this man is making economically and am not happy with him on that and a number of principles

I don’t think he’s serving two terms if he keeps this corporate appeasment shit up

Does the word ‘teabagging’ as used here have anything to do with what I heard about it once on Curb Your Enthusiam?

I believe that would create a more fair tax burden, the middle class pays close to 50 percent in taxes since they spend just about all of their income on taxable items we are taxed a number of times on a dollar already taxed

the wealthy spend a small protion of their income and are taxed about 30 percent of their income even with the progressive tax on income and even if there were no deductions

we really need to equalize the burden and pronto

Johnathan Capehart has a ridiculous piece up today at the Post where he tells the reader that he got an email from a friend criticizing Obama which causes him to pretend that what his friend wants Obama to do is what the public wants. What an asshat. Johnathan Capeheart – Mind Reader Extrordinaire
