With limited apologies to Lionel Ritchie:
Two hearts, two hearts that beat as one, cholesterol of a thousand and one…
Cheney on Limbaugh: ‘I love him.’
They do have a lot in common after all. They both love depraved "fraternity pranks", throwing toasters into public swimming pools, thinking "24" is like real life, sending other kids to wars, getting out of wars themselves.
And, of course, they’ll always have the Dominican Republic.
Rush (or as Cheney calls him in Santa Domingo "El Hefty") goes there to exploit third-world sex-workers while Cheney has, by his own admission, more pedestrian tastes. He goes to the Dominican to be stimulated when he attends re-enactments of the assassination of the Mirabel Sisters by Generalissimo Trujillo, Cheney’s boyhood crush.
Good times.

I’d be happy to see them go off bird hunting together with a case of Wild Turkey, enough oxycontin to down a horse, and some old, rusty shotguns.
Blame it on Santo Domingo.
OT: Per this article in the March first NYT:
If we own their holding company, we own them, and Obama needs to simply say “NO” to bonuses. How difficult can that be?
OT: Here is another one. This is by Gretchen Morgensen in Saturday’s NYT:
What the hell is with this “might release” bullshit. We fucking own them. Obama’s the Decider Guy. Just make it so!
Good morning, pups. It’s Cohen and Krugman today. Hmmm… No young Mr. Douthat yet, and he’s not yet listed on the roster of columnists. Inquiring minds, and all that… Mr. Cohen, in “Iran, Jews and Pragmatism,” says in Iran, life is a daily exercise in difficult compromises that temper Islam with modern society’s demands. Mr. Krugman writes from Madrid about “A Continent Adrift,” and says Europe is facing at least as severe a slump as the United States, yet has failed to respond effectively to the downturn.
Here they are.
The coffee, tea and hot chocolate are ready, and the biscuits are out of the oven. We’ve got another thick fog this morning, and may get rain. A bit of rain would be good — the first radishes are up, and I’m expecting to see lettuce sprouts today or tomorrow. Have a great day.
Douche-borough and his cohorts this morning as saying President Obama is now saying the fundamentals of the economy are strong. Wrong assholes! What he said is he is focusing on the strong parts and working on the weaker parts.
And….LMAO about the picture for this post, Attaturk! HIGH-sterical! And creepy. Yuck.
Clearly it’s where the whole “Teabag Party” thing originated.
Attaturk, I tried to open up the Digg, but wasn’t able to! Ugh. Anyone else know how to do it so I can Digg this post?
they both have the koch brothers as their puppet masters
they are the ones that had the torture script for 24 written
it was a social setup, the puppet masters are pretty good and these are the only real evil genious’s
cheney has always been a moron and a failure but he sounds smart and speaks in a manner we give deferance but he is a moron controlled by his real master, the koch brothers
rush is actually an inteligent man, not nearly the moron of cheney and bush but he is controlled by the koch brothers as well
we need to direct more attention to the koch brothers, they are responsible for the cato institute, the new surge in “libertarianism”, the push toward concervative agenda in entertainment and they are probably the people responsible for the pnac
I have decided not only does rush look related to rove, he also looks related to cheney
true dat
Atta, I have news for you.
Thanks to BushCo, “24″ is real life.
All your Bill of Rights are now belong to us.
And BHO ain’t giving them all back any time soon.
ps, it’s clear cheney is going after bush, he doesn’t know what he’s getiing into, as I said, cheney is a moron who thinks nobody can touch him
if pprogressives could get this fiight started, start getting in the media, CHENEY CALLS BUSH OUT”, if we can get that discussion going bush would then go after cheney
and THEN we would get some action
good point but attaturk really meant “thinking torture works like 24 makes believe”
I heard the same crap from someone at a gathering yesterday so I can only assume (knowing the idiot I heard it from) that it must be a RW talking point.
They’ve gotta be related somewhere down the line because they’re both overweight, pasty white, and retarded.
it’s what happens with in breeding
The lies, deceits, and distortions never end when it comes to the American Taliban wanting to take control of the argument! So, there was Douche-borough this morning on Morning Joe saying one thing, and then when he played what President Obama actually said, it was the exact opposite of what Joe said the President was saying! And we know a few viewers will believe the pasty white man, Douche-borough, over the brown skinned man, President Obama! Spit. Makes me so angry.
I love how the wingers get all upset about stem cells and cloning, but yet, they’ve been in-breeding for years to make what they believe to be as the, “Master Race”. *shaking head*
obama is taking on too many bush attributes, ie his defenses mounted over at empty wheels house
I would be upset but not surprised if obama continues his degradation
good point
off to panera all, see you later
Have a good day Perris!
BTW, I apologize if this has already been discussed, but there
was a great article in yesterday’s NYT Magazine about the George W. Bush
Freedom AgendaPolicy Institute atSouthern Methodist University in Dallas. Basically, even the arrangement between Stanford and
the Hoover Institution, which basically allows Hoover to do WTF they want, was too much university interference for the Bushies. In typical BushCo fashion, they offered “my way or the highway” – and got it.
And now SMU has a slowing growing anti-academic freedom tumour attached.
Time to give the SMU president a bonus.
Morning everyone. I’ve been watching CNN this morning. No mention of AIG yet. That’s the big story of the day. Whether the MSM covers it or not is immaterial. People are going to be enraged and I think this may be the tipping point of rebellion.
Switched over to MSNBC. They’re talking about bombing Iran. Aaaah, some things never change.
And there’s your answer! The MSM won’t report on stuff like this because they don’t want the public to be outraged and hitting the streets. They would much rather pull up old stories such as Anna Nicole’s death to keep Americans in the dark. MSNBC decided not to talk about Jon Stewart’s smackdown of Jim Cramer, because by doing so, they would have had to have shown the video clips of Cramer talking about he and his wife manipulate stocks for their own benefit on the backs of American’s pension funds!
I’d be happy to see them go off bird hunting together with a case of Wild Turkey, enough oxycontin to down a horse, and some old, rusty shotguns.
It’ll take a lot more oxy’s to bring down Rush than it would to bring down a horse.
mornin’ all.
Exactly Jayt! I bet a mouse would scare that big fat elephant rather than him snorting 300 Oxy pills through his nose.
This is at TPM regarding AIG:
True. And it’s going to hurt Obama (as it should).
MSNBC talking about the bonuses.
spawns of Satan.
Kay,
Olberman and Maddow both had segments on Stewart’s smackdown on Friday night’s shows. Of course, I don’t watch MSNBC except for Olberman and Maddow, so I have no idea what the other segments were doing.
The faculty at Southern Millionaire’s haven’t had their final say yet. I fully expect that some compromise will be worked out. It will be something along the lines of Bushie’s library will be on the grounds of SMU, but not affiliated with the University proper.
So no courtesy faculty appointments for the
apologists brown-nosers scowlersscholars affiliated with BushWorld. That means anyone attempting to get a doctorate at SMU can’t be advised by the folks at BushWorld. With Pickles on the SMU Board of Trustees, that’s probably the best we can hope for.
