At least that would mean you are listening but there are times that listening just isn’t enough. A time comes when we have to do something besides listen, criticize and complain to ourselves – we have to go “off the deep end” and stand up. If complaining is all we do then nothing will be accomplished except the world will be filled with hot air and agreed on opinions and the government will go on with “business as usual.”

For those who are fed up and suffering from all the “help” we have received from the government, we have to ask – as quoted in the article preceding this by Rob Johnson – “So now the question has changed. It is not what happened. It is what, as citizens and activists, do we do about it?”

We can sign petitions until the cows come home but until we become “loons” and “go over the deep end” we are at the mercy of what the government feels is in “our” best interest. I think that speaks for itself and what a shame that WE ALLOW this to happen!

They will continue – one stimulus, one omnibus and now yet another possible stimulus all putting us so far in debt that we will never see the light at the end of the tunnel. If we do then we best be careful because odds are really good that is the light of an oncoming train.

How much can you afford? The first stimulus broke me and we have not even begun to see the effects of the second. HEAVEN HELP US ALL. If we don’t do something even if we are viewed as “lunatics”, for at least attempting to save ourselves, from the “powers that be” (and who have destroyed and will continue to destroy) our future and the future for generations who will follow us then we have nobody else to blame for our future.

It is time people stop sitting around complaining and do something, even if the “people in the know” call us lunatics for doing it.

Until we do something then we are the reason the economy is failing. We need to accept that it is all OUR fault!! The reason the government does and gets away with what they do… is because WE THE PEOPLE allow it!! …. by doing nothing. A “loon” like Glenn Beck may be starting this “revolution” but I would much rather listen to Beck than an idiot like Obama – or, better said, his staff of idiots as he is “passing YOUR buck” and finding people to blame in case of, and there is sure to be failure, in HIS plan!

i just finished watching “we surround them.” glenn beck is right. it is ok to be patriotic. it is ok to to love America. it is ok to feel like we did the day after 9-11, when we can all came together as a nation and decided we needed to stop insane, radical islam .

we have to stop listening to this insane president. we have need to stop fearing fear. we need to move forward and create wealth again. we need to support entrepreneur and greatly reduce the size of government. this evil government that we have now, has to be stopped. we needed to put Americans back into office.

I listened to his show yesterday and he specifically said that “God” was your individual god and that all religions have the same basic effect on people and society. He wants people to be grounded and return to the basics of human nature. He isn’t acting like a prophet. He is getting people off their asses and reminding them that they are in charge of their own lives. The more “benefits” that we get from govt, the more power we hand them! Our govt was created on the idea that “God” gave every person the rights that are outlined in our constitution. No one can take those rights away, but we have blindly given them away over the years. I am sorry if I blamed Bush for everything – I don’t remember mentioning any past administration. Unlike the new administration did. He asked for it, he knew or he should have known what was ahead and blaming past administrations for his lack of knowing how to “fix” anything hardly seems like what his campaign was all about. I think it would be great to share this dialogue with you. Wicca is a belief structure that I don’t believe in, but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t have a respectful discussion about what is going on in this country. It’s interesting the blanket blaming and labeling going on. We, as a nation, are in it whether we continue to bicker or not. We have allowed ourselves to be pulled apart and polarized and thus, we’ve allowed big government to pull the wool over our eyes. It seems many of us have allowed ourselves to prefer sound bites instead of actually listening to what is being said. I’m guilty of it, but I’m trying to listen. I begin to wonder if we ever healed after the Civil War. It seems it is still going on, sadly.

65% is a statistic. I can appreciate a statistic, but these polls are only taken from those who have or make the time to answer. I much prefer to look at the reality of my local community than polling numbers that can be easily skewed. They can be useful, but I don’t take much stock in a poll that is trying to speak for an entire nation’s population even if it goes the way I’d like it to go.
