Jon Stewart faces off tonight against Jim Cramer, host of CNBC’s Mad Money, with whom he’s been feuding. Ding ding ding! Come out fighting! Or wanking! Clips from the past week here!

I had a post all ready to go on something else, but it occurred to me that pretty much everyone and their mums, like farmers, and farmers’ mums, will be watching the damn Daily Show and not reading my otherwise incredibly pithy blog observations on World Events. It’s not often that you get to see a bald nitwit consistently wrong basic cable financial pundit eviscerated on live teevee, after all. Though it may be hard to watch — Cramer seems to be kind of quivering, hardly even able to properly bake pies with Martha, the other Stewart:

CNBC’s Mad Money host Jim Cramer got a warm-up for tonight’s Jon Stewart show by stopping by Martha Stewart’s show today – to bake banana cream pie. When Martha asked him about facing off with Stewart, Cramer said, "I’m a little nervous." She replied: "You should be nervous."

Jim: "Is he going to kill me?" (laughing)
Martha: "He’s fast as lightning."
Jim: "I’m slow as molasses."
Martha: "Ah, no you’re not. But I would take the banana cream pie we are going to make a little later on. … You can either feed it to him if he calms down or you can throw it at him."

Later, Jim said, "I mean he’s going to be standing there giving me the business, I’m going to have to fight back. I’m not a doormat. Do I impress you as a doormat?"
Marther: "No way. That’s why I’m going to watch. That’s why everybody in the world is going to watch tonight."
