It’s the same process year after year now and has been the same for a decade or so…they start floating this headline, which we then start seeing everywhere in BigMedia outlets, “Newt Considering White House Run” or something like that. Started seeing these about two weeks ago. The 2nd part is basically unlimited air time for Snoot on Sunday shows and cable news primetime shows.

Life would be so easy as a Repub leader. BigMedia gives you basically all the headlines and airtime you want, and you’re assured that they won’t really question all your hypocrisy and untruths. Purely funnels for your bullshit, and to top it off your appearences give credibility to you and your claims to the average viewer.

BigMedia reform/replacement should be issue #1 for us IMO.

KO didn’t mention the closeted gay part, but at least he said, “Jeff Christie”, which I’m sure prompted a ton of Americans last night to do a Google search of it! Ha ha, Rush. Now that you’re the leader of the RNC, your dirty laundry is coming out. Too bad you wouldn’t come out of the closet and admit the reason why you despise women is because you love men.

polls showed he was almost as hated as bush himself, now polls show he’s hated even more

he needed to do something to justify the salary he recieves sine he became a non force

if this was deliberate, and I do believe it was, it was worked perfectly for him, he is now a force again

he doesn;t care if that force is destructive to the party, as long as he is the force, the defacto leader, that’s all he cares about

For once, Rush is telling the truth, I think. Newt probably does wish it was all about him instead of all about Rush. They both have such massive egoes that it must pain them terribly to see someone else get some attention.

you are so sweet – thank you! it does take me a lot of time. there are some compilations, but they all have stuff missing so i go through every committee website and get their emails and rss feeds to try not to miss anything (i’m sure i still do sometimes though). ari was going to get me a subscription to cq to make it easier, but he’s gone so i’m still doing it all by hand.

Not until the last week or so have I heard the suggestion that Rush is gay. I just googled Jeff Christie and saw lots of speculation and the story that J.Christie was once arrested for solicitation. I didn’t see, however, proof of that arrest. Is there proof? A mug shot?

Is there an online version? is it costly?

waccamaw – it’s way too expensive to do it as an individual. the way to go is to do it with a group of people because cq will give discounts. even so it’s still pretty pricey.

…usually i can find the motivation (which is to think that maybe some few people will end up watching who might not have), but this morning i really didn’t want to do it. so the thanks were most welcome.

i spoke with someone last year and was told that an individual subscription was about $2K/yr but could be negotiated down to something like a $250-$350/per person if one signed up during a promotion and as a group with 8 people. it was all very car-salesman like.
