I’m neutral on Politico, but I enjoyed the New Yorker profile of Emanuel. It wasn’t a puff piece at all, IMO.

As for Limbaugh, he’s built his career on finely calibrated race-baiting. Why should anyone care what he has to say about the first black president?

Wouldn’t take much. Obama won with way over 50% of the electorate, which is his constituency, his audience, if you will. He was actually elected! Rush, not so much. Only about 20% even like him; the remainder think he’s an overstuffed drug addict with a potty mouth!

While I’m generally against the idea of lowering the dignity of the Presidency to a level that would allow the President to address “The Great Ditto” directly, I am also of the opinion that, in the end, bullies need to be dealt with harshly. To wit: Blacken their eyes, bloody their noses, and send them wailing home to their mommies. Anything less, and they will continue.

I am reminded of Joseph N. Welch slapping down Joe McCarthy. That was sort of the beginning of the end for that dirtbag. Obama should wait for exactly the right moment and then open up with everything he’s got.

He’s from the neighboring district,. ‘member how Mccain told is over and over ad nauseum in the doofus way of his “I’ll never be Miss Congeniality….” Grayson neither.

Bill Press is part of the cocktail weenie circuit, and has been for decades. Of course he’ll promote Politi Co. Been trying to stomach his radio show a little here and there, but I’m rapidly realizing it’s a waste of time. Heard him have some “reporter” from Fox Business Newz spew talking points unchallenged, and he even has the clueless loud-mouth, tough talking producer chime in and remind us about how clueless they both are.

And what’s with Press calling his show, “The Official Radio Show of the Obama Generation?!?” Exsqueeze me, but Press is a DeeCee Establishment maven who’s been kissing Power’s ass for decades, and Obama ran as an outsider to all this. They are pretty much on opposite ends of the spectrum, but leave it Bill Press to try and glom onto whatever is popular. What a tool.
