“If You Live Long Enough, B3 Will Be Right About Everything”

By: Jane Hamsher Friday February 6, 2009 9:03 pm

My first boss Bruce B. Brugmann (B3) has a blog.

And it’s not worth explaining, but if you know Bruce, it’s fucking hilarious:

PG&E’s interest is clear: to grab as many City Hall appointments as possible to protect and enhance the position of this corrupt and corrupting private utility.

Nerve of Steele

By: Julia Friday February 6, 2009 8:00 pm

Newly-named RNC Chair Michael Steele says he’s going to make the GOP competitive in the, how shall I put this, less monochromatic territory of the northeast. It seems unlikely.

Do You Really Want to Go Half-Assed on the Stimulus?

By: Eli Friday February 6, 2009 6:01 pm

Stimulus Package? Manhattan Madam Claims Wall Street Fat Cats Charged Girls on Corp Credit Cards

By: Lisa Derrick Friday February 6, 2009 3:01 pm

Kristin Davis, who pleaded guilty for promoting prostitution–she was the madame in the Elliot Spitzer prostitution case–says Wall Street CEOs and investment bankers used their corporate credit card cards to charge sexy romps at a stimulating cost of $2,000 an hour.

In an interviw with ABC’s 20/20 airing tonight, Davis says:

Some of these guys, I was invoicing on corporate credit cards. I was writing up monthly bills for computer consulting, construction expenses, all of these things, I was invoicing them monthly so they could get it by their accountants. Okay, prostitution is one thing–but fraud? Yikes!

By: emptywheel Friday February 6, 2009 2:34 pm

By: Teddy Partridge Friday February 6, 2009 1:45 pm
