Why people are impressed with this Master of The Obvious with 20/20 Hindsight is way beyond me.

I am not satisfied with leaving 50k troops in ANY foreign country.

We need to get our military entanglements in foreign nations to end completely. No advisors no nada.

Stop sucking up the military memes. It’s all rubbish and only gets us into trouble and innocent people killed.

Keep an eye on the revisionist history of Jim Kramer of CNBS. He started yesterday, proclaiming that he adamantly advised his viewers to exit the market six months ago. I’m sure he can refer to a video clip where he said that, amid the thousands where he told everyone to stay in and double-down.

The rats are seeking cover from the torches and pitchforks crowd, who are now realizing that they’ve been had, by the agents of the banksters, who they came to know and trust through the TeeVee.

‘Every last piece’ destroyed

Adam Candeub, now a law professor at Michigan State University, said senior managers at the agency ordered that “every last piece” of the report be destroyed. “The whole project was just stopped – end of discussion,” he said. Candeub was a lawyer in the FCC’s Media Bureau at the time the report was written and communicated frequently with its authors, he said.

I really like the idea of aboloshing the death penalty, but it would be ironic if that were done for economic reasons.

I’ve often thought that the nation could save a hell of a lot of money by simply legalizing recreational drugs say to the extent that the Netherlands has. The costs of enforcement and incarceration and human suffering are horrible.

When I respond to Jindal’s revising history re: Katrina and his spinning that government is incompetent and ineffective, I realize that his party did all that they could to make good and effective government impossible. He demeans the efforts of all the volunteers who went to New Orleans to help out when HIS government refused to respond. He demeans all the NYC sanitation guys who brought their front loaders and garbage trucks to Sidney, NY after we had a big flood which destroyed the whole town. He demeans anyone who has spent time carrying buckets of mud and debris, slogging through rotted houses in an attempt to save them. HIS party sat on their hands while everyone suffered. And he would trot out a lie to rewrite that. Shame on him.

GITMO will be closing, most of our soldiers will be coming home from Iraq, universal healthcare is coming, women in our country can now sue their employer if they’re paid less than their male counterparts, we have a president who is focused on helping Americans rather than the big CEO’s and the uber wealthy etc. etc. etc.

You’re not seeing change? Oh boy.

And if you’re stuck on state secrets and the 10 million missing emails, well then…then don’t you think the wingers would love President Obama? Nope! Obama is black so they’re going to go after him on everything!

Change is coming. It might be slow some days and fast on others, but change is coming and is already here.

Good Morning All!

Whoosh! Did last night really happen?! I thot Nancy was gonna break a heel, jumpin’ up ‘n down last night like that. She’s one energized lady. Fine. Let’s hope she uses that to steamroll Beener, heh.

And the Boss hugged Liarman? See that?! Sinator wanted more, but somehow the opportunity had passed. My President is smooth. Very athletic. Just always not quite within reach. Sorry Liar. And Mccaint must not have slept a wink last night… still muttering to himself in the bathroom mirror… so over… overdone… done. teh inner muse so bitter, it burns.

JinDoll. Did anyone else think he grabbed his speech for the kindergarten class by accident? Ah well. Who could have followed THE President? The little rebuttal opportunity was a mere chicken wing tossed to the puppy. Prolly no one with any sense dared touch it.

Obama ruled the night. And Michelle was an angel up there, hugging a brave little girl and her mom.

I wonder if rush will spend the day griping that Obama gave the state-of-the-u speech on the wrong date, thus offending the masses.
No, rush. We’re pleased and ready to work, on both sides of the aisle.

I got a kick out of watching the repubbles in the lege last nite, alternately following every word in the printed speech, as if himself were going to pull a fast one they dasn’t allow, then scrambling to their feet over and over in confusion and consternation, simply because everyone else was doing so. Herd mentality. It’s what’s for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Now they’d better work together “for the greater good,” or else!?! The country and the world await, standing with arms crossed, glaring, tapping the proverbial beat of serious impatience. Will the Republicans join in to help mend this poor world of hurt? or will they sit in the corner and pout?

Watching Jindal last night repeating his mantra – Americans can do anything reminded me of Eddie Haskell sucking up to June Cleaver. What a lovely dress you have on Mrs. Cleaver.

I was channel switching this morning and heard Scarborough and Buchanan talking about Jindal. I’m not sure who said what but evidently one of them got a phone call or email from another Republican who was said during or after the Jindal speech….Mayday….Mayday..LOL
