What the fuck is that? Something like eyes, nose, hair, mouth… why doesn’t it look human? Leave alone his remarks. There’s just something wrong and dead about his eyes.

This guy has a veggie brain that get’s worse daily. No human has ever recovered from his brain condition.

Apparently he wants the gooper intelligencia in Ky. to think that by giving him money- this vegamatic will force Obama to put a conservative justice on the court.

Well- guess some MIGHT believe that- but don’t the goopers ever get tired of fishing for the lowest common denominator?

.
Thanks.

It’s scary. Whenever I hear the term “military advisor,” I mark my calendar: We’ll be at war there within months, trying to suppress a popular uprising and prop up a brutal, corrupt, incompetent third-world government. Vietnam all over again.

Advice should not come out of the barrel of a gun. And you should be able to ignore or reject it.

Saw this 6 page article in “The Atlantic” magazine at the library the other day and remembered what Schumer had said during a campaign season (2008 or 2006?) that the only thing to bring down NY was a financial crisis. I am paraphrasing from a long ago statement. Oddly, now it has one.

T. Boone (is one of Bush’s new neighbors along with Republican donor Harold Simmons and recently retired Exxon Mobil CEO Lee R. Raymond.) was on C-Span last night and he wants to put wind turbines from Tx corridor to Canada and said manufacturing would have to moved to that area for power. I wonder if what is happening now was planned. No one could be a 100% loser in every thing he touched like shrub. How can so many companies go from making record breaking profits to filing or near filing for bankruptcies? It is just freaking unbelievable.

How the Crash Will Reshape America (The Atlantic Magazine)
by Richard Florida
The current economic crisis is unlikely to result in the same kind of shared experience. To be sure, the economic contraction is causing pain just about everywhere. In October, less than a month after the financial markets began to melt down, Moody’s Economy.com* published an assessment of recent economic activity within 381 U.S. metropolitan areas. Three hundred and two were already in deep recession, and 64 more were at risk. Only 15 areas were still expanding. Notable among them were the oil- and natural-resource-rich regions of Texas and Oklahoma, buoyed by energy prices that have since fallen; and the Greater Washington, D.C., region, where government bailouts, the nationalization of financial companies, and fiscal expansion are creating work for lawyers, lobbyists, political scientists, and government contractors.

No place in the United States is likely to escape a long and deep recession. Nonetheless, as the crisis continues to spread outward from New York, through industrial centers like Detroit, and into the Sun Belt, it will undoubtedly settle much more heavily on some places than on others. Some cities and regions will eventually spring back stronger than before. Others may never come back at all. As the crisis deepens, it will permanently and profoundly alter the country’s economic landscape. I believe it marks the end of a chapter in American economic history, and indeed, the end of a whole way of life.
…
What’s more certain is that the recession, particularly if it turns out to be as long and deep as many now fear, will accelerate the rise and fall of specific places within the U.S.—and reverse the fortunes of other cities and regions.

You did fine, the link works. That’s the important thing.

The second time you pasted the url, you put it into the space reserved for labeling the url. I hope that makes sense.
