Sunday, Newsday reported that Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) keeps two rifles under her bed in her upstate New York home:
WASHINGTON – - New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, who argues her pro-gun stance aims to protect hunters’ rights and the Second Amendment, last week said she and her husband, Jonathan, keep two rifles under their bed to protect their upstate home.
(my bold)
Monday, Newday reported that:
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) has moved the two rifles that she kept under the bed to protect her upstate New York home, her spokesman said Monday.
"Given that the location of the guns has been disclosed, they have been moved for security reasons," Gillibrand’s spokesman Matt Canter said.
Why did Gillibrand remove the guns from under her bed? Was it because she was stupid, telling her local crooks that she had guns and where to find them so they could steal them and use them against the people she represents?
I think a better question is why did she feel the need to disclose that she had guns. Was it because she felt the need to cater to the NRA? And why the location - under her bed – has she received threats? Perhaps she was trying to reach out to all New Yorkers, to show she is one of them. If so, what does that say about her perceptions of the residents of the state of New York?
What do you think?

About Firedoglake
maybe they were to protect her home from bears ;-)
Um, I think this simply means that she — like millions of Americans — wanted the gun for protections. Maybe she received threats but I doubt it. Most criminals that assault you don’t take the common courtesy of calling you up to inform you of their plans to do bodily harm to you before doing so.
I have two loaded guns in my house. One is under my bed.
Does she her, husband any and all kids have a decent education about how to handle guns? Under the bed seems like a bad place if you have kids or servants.
Excellent post – thanks Suzanne
i am not saying that she should not have guns for self protection – what i am questioning is why did she disclose that she had them – and why did she disclose the location
Suz! Fancy meeting you here.
And is there any reason we need to choose one? Why not both?
Just what is the violent crime rate that she is so scared about in her neignborhood?
In a related story, former Senator Larry Craig reports that he keeps his guns in the closet.
-G
under the bed is a horrible place for guns – and irrc, she has children.
Why?
Kinky.
place sure looks different in the daytime – dayam, i need sunglasses (and more coffee)
gives new meaning to Minuteman.
This is much more common than most non-gun owners realize. Too many otherwise rational people have permitted themselves to be influenced by TV and have fantasies of shooting a bad guy in self defense, rather than say, a Japanese exchange student by accident.
thank you egregious
Is it possible he meant ‘gun boats?’
Hi Suze. Nice to see you in the daylight, you’re much better looking than at night!
OMG. Just looked at your blog and your incredible location. Is it the 9th commendment that’s about not coveting? Busted!
How often does she clean her guns of under the bed dust bunnies?
Do we have to choose? Surely she can be both!
I prefer swords for protection. Or, if you’re untrained with those, baseball bats. Less chance of a fatal accident, and armed intruders are basically an “I’m scared and I wet myself” conservative myth.
guns in a home with children should be secured in a locked gun safe.
far too many tragedies happen because no one thinks their child will touch the gun because they were told not to.
thanks barbara
Aside from the fact that I think we need to simply collect all the guns and let only cops and criminals have them…
The idea of keeping, and touting the keeping of, them under the bed is interesting. She forgot the 3 in the livingroom tucked in the cushions of her sofa, the Derringer in the medicine cabinet, and the 9mm in that ratty pair of sneakers just inside the back porch.
So Senator Smith & Wesson is prepared for anything… I feel so much better.
The underlying issue of guns in the home for protection is a mystery to me. I live across the Hudson River from Gillibrand. It’s probably more dangerous, since there are a host of prisons within a radius of 20 miles. Yet I don’t even lock my door most of the time. What is she so scared of? I haven’t known of any violence, except the domestic sort, in the area for ages.
I know a few hunters who have guns in their houses, in safes. But none of them would say they are for protection.
And most people who keep guns for protection don’t announce to the press where they keep their guns!
Sorry Colin. My previous comment was not meant for you; this one is. I might add, you just made this one too easy!
Gillibrand is cocking NRA suck. She’s a God, Guns and Guts Gal.
Were the guns under the bed? Who knows? Its the reporting of the story that makes her a God Guns and Guts NRA fightin’ pit bull with lipstick.
Thanks Governor Paterson for the redneck rep.. As if we don’t have enough blue dogs and republicans already.
An unloaded gun is useless. One under the bed because it is easy to get at in the middle of the night if needed.
I keep a hand grenade under my pillow. Maybe I’m bluffing, maybe not. Feeling lucky?
Nailed it in one! *G*
Yikes. I do have pepper spray in case of bears – we see them here off and on (Colorado mountains) and a baseball bat. That, at least, might protect me, although I’ve never had any trouble (except bears on the porch). If Some one came in with a gun, I just can’t imagine getting in a shoot out. And if they don’t have a gun, well, we’ll hopefully be able to handle it.
really. i never get to get to LLN. good to see ya again, suze.
Dogs, big dogs for home protection they wake up before you hear anything.
SUZ!!! SPOTLIGHT MAIN PAGE POST!! *WOOT*
My first thoughts now are she simply politically showboated, it was a fuck up, and she’s been reined in now by some strategists and they may actually worsen it all . . . . . she’s a disaster on this one, out of the gate. Stupid thing to say . . . . . just simply stupid. Dawg help The Big Apple and the rest of the state she reps for.
every cop i knew when i worked on the force did not keep their weapons under the bed. they kept weapons in a secured location where any children or intruders could not get them.
the side of the coin that most forget is the ‘are you willing to use the gun to kill if needed’. any hesitation by a homeowner confronting an intruder can, and has, resulted in the weapon being taken by the crook and used against the homeowner.
Suz, nice post, good to see you so early (yawn).
This was a stupid thing for Gillibrand to have said. Seems like she wants people to think she’s rough and tough, and doesn’t mind putting her family at risk to do so. Is this what New Yorkers want in a senator? Someone who will oops, let slip a vital fact?
thanks bfl
Why do you think you need a loaded gun under your bed for use in the middle of the night? Do you live in a neighborhood that has a lot of break-ins? (If so, a more effective alternative might be to leave the bathroom light on, if the bathroom window is visible from the outside. Malcolm X used that as a sure sign NOT to rob the house.) Have you practiced shooting the gun in dark, cramped conditions?
ding!
at least that would be my guess: this has nothing to do with guns, safety, protection or related. it’s about image marketing and appealing to voters.
I’m relying on flattery to create some brownie points in the bank that I might have to draw on in some future LLN. *g*
I think Suz is right Gillibrand is bragging about her guns because she wants NRA cash.
The NRA was kind of quiet this election though what happened?
Remember when Nancy Reagan talked about her little bitty, teeny tiny handgun? Good times, good times.
Um, I doubt that it will win her many votes in NYC. I would guess the gun-toters there don’t show up at the polls in great numbers (but I could be wrong).
Agreed. Her cost/benefit analysis polling said to go for it, that it would get her more run upstate than it cost her in, you know, reasonable New York.
Kitty cats! Any kind of unusual sound and they immediately leap onto my haid.
Our gun-totin’ cutey Senator has moved her guns out from under her bed so that bad guys can’t find them.
So what safe spot has she found for them now?
Oh, of course — She just stashes ‘em under her kids’ beds!
Better to put the guns on top of the bed and sleep under the bed so booglers can just grab them and toddle off to the pawn shop. No harm to anyone
LOL.
You’d think there were issues of more substance that might catch her attention? Like the economy? Like wars? I guess that would be a no. She sounds like a one-note R.
TEXAS WAR BOYCOTT
In a recent trip through Texas and saw a lot of wealth and people driving BMW’s across newly paved roads. New projects covered almost every square inch of the state, except for El Paso, which voted democrat and looks like an ashtray because it was “punished.”
This economic sword cuts “two ways.”
America is in a bad way, because of over-inflated gas prices but Texas is doing GREAT! George W. Bush and LBJ are the two WORST American presidents in our history. Both TEXAS MANIACS started wars bankrupting our nation, resulting in the deaths of thousands of Americans and both came from the B.S. state of TEXAS.
Someone has to pay for this betrayal of America.
IT’S TIME TO BILL THE PEOPLE OF TEXAS!
Let’s start the TEXAS WAR BOYCOTT.
How?
1)Rejecting all business and vacation travel “through” or “to” the state of Texas.
2)BOYCOTT or REJECT all Texas products & services like Exxon/MOBIL, ALL Frito-Lay Products, Doritos, Southwest Airlines, Dr. Pepper, Lone Star Beer, DELL computers, Continental, Express Jet and American Airlines, the Dallas Cowboys, Apache Computer software, Hewlett-Packard, FMC, Perot Systems, Chili’s, Maggiano’s, Romano’s, Centex Homes, Dallas Mavericks, J.C. Penney, Kimberly-Clark, Pilgrim’s Pride, SBC, Stewart Title Guaranty Co., Texas Instruments, SYSCO, Texaco and CONOCO Phillips – until these companies and organizations leave the state of Texas.
3)Post in your home or business a computer print-out sign that says,
“GOD-DAMNED Texas Redneck Trailer-Trash Christian Fundamentalist are
NOT WELCOME HERE.”
Every square inch of Texas roads have been repaved and infrastructural building within the state is exploding from inflated gas prices that fattened up the most ignorant section of America.
These Texas people LOVE George W. Bush.
Help make Texas “FEEL THE PAIN!”
Also, Karl Rove, Tom Delay & other Texas Republicans, used PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE- through FEAR & INTIMIDATION – AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. Here is the “BLOW BACK” for these tactics! Give TEXAS a taste of its own medicine shoving its garbage politicians with its stupid hats, boots, buckles, & B.S. bravado, right “up” all Texas throats!
‘afternoon, all-
She was just mindlessly pandering, throwing some red meat to the gun freaks. A pander-of-opportunity moment, and she didn’t think. Just shot off her mouth, so to speak.
How nice to see you in the daylight, Suzanne!
Or possibly an Alexander Calder mobile of hanging rifles in the baby’s nursery!
She didn’t have to go too long into her term to recognize how much scratch you need to stay a Senator. And she likes the perks.
nice to see ya’ll in the daytime too – but i gotta say the joint sure looks different and i never needed sunglasses at the lake at nite
Under the bed? Not really. She should have the gun in bed with her. She should have a shotgun. Not a rifle. A sawed-off shotgun while illegal and not recommended, has maneuverability in the tight confines of a bedroom and a nice wide spray. One need not be so accurate. A rifle is not even a good second choice for Gilly’s intended stated use (protection from an intruder).
Surely a handgun under the mattress would be a better choice than an under the bed, unwieldly rifle – designed for long range shooting.
Gilly is simply throwing fodder to the rubes. Look at me everybody. I’m just like Sarah Palin.
I hope the guns were broken down. We had a rule in our house). They stay broken until used, which means not until you left the car with the dogs to shoot ducks and pheasants.
we should remind gillibrand that she is a D and not an r like palin – i’ve never understood the attraction of being a pitbull in lipstick – i always thought comparing a woman to a dog was an insult
A rifle is a lousy home defense weapon, anyway. Almost guaranteed to over-penetrate and go through a wall-and you might be legally allowed to shoot someone in your home, but you are also legally liable for your bullets flying around the neighborhood. Far better a shotgun, loaded with a medium shot, or a handgun loaded with Glasers or some other disintegrating bullet.
Unless you’re going to war. Then you want a rifle.
Well, a pitbull anyhow. There are better looking and nicer dogs, if you feel compelled to compare a woman to one.
Hackworth, I think I owe you a Coke.
yup, sucks when the round goes through the crook, the wall behind him, and ends up in the baby’s crib
Woody Allen still has the best definition of the NRA (from “Sleeper”), the NRA, “he was probably a member of the national rifle association. That was a group that helped criminals get guns so they could shoot citizens, it was a public service”
And this is the person who will be voting for more American Exceptionalism in Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Africa……..
So gun control … was such an issue for her former NY non-constituency… seems an in your face disclosure maybe to shore up or reassure her NRA and old right backers.
But our new senator may be going for “disarming” (or maybe the wrong choice of word) honesty with the media and her new wider constituency unappreciative of this non-political trait. Hope she continues if this is the trait… should be interesting and I can only hope she will be “different” as has been said by some of her appreciators.
But then again, to be so casual about having a deadly weapon, though, is unsettling. I know we all have our ideal political values and we have our personal compromises. The old … being a passivist until your own family is jeopardized. But the values of what is now being called the “hard” left are so disdained even by our own “pragmatic” Obama-following progressives… like the horror over the Gazan slaughter, the continued caretaking of the foxes in the national henhouse… the banks and Wall Street as opposed to the taxpayer …. yeah… let’s reassure the “non-gun control” backers while automatic weaponry so useful and deadly in the hands of organized and unorganized criminals. But …national conscience not all that imaginative at reaching to that level of consciousness.
Scared or stupid? I wish. Just seems more of the status quo … will a healthy skepticism about this even go beyond the boundaries of firedoglake?
For what it’s worth, there are a lot of folks who hang out here that reside in Texas.
Please relax and join the conversation but tone down the volume just a tad if you please.
Not everyone from Texas supported Bush. Not everyone from Texas is as full of hate as you seem to be.
A link to your point usually suffices and you can then join the conversation.
I’m just like Sarah Palin.
Gillibrand’s daughter got knocked up too?
NRA Gun Safety Rules:
I’d vote for stupidity but then again what do I know?
People don’t think about that. And even an intermediate powered rifle can easily go through a brick wall. I read a case one time where a .303 Enfield went through a wall, ricocheted, and killed a girl sitting in her car almost a mile away.
A rifle is a lousy home defense weapon.
What a great idea – leaving guns under the bed with 2 small kids running around the house. Unbelievable. The parents are always so surprised after a child gets hold of a gun. They shouldn’t be surprised.
I can’t see her winning in 2010.
Exactly. I’ve been told to buy a Smith & Wesson short barrell 12 guage shot gun for protection. Your aim doesn’t have to be precise and it won’t shoot the neighbor by mistake. It loads six shells. A gun was never on my shopping list until recently. Some of the predictions I’ve read about the violence caused by the economic downturn has me thinking about it.
yup – just as most folks do not honest answer the question of could they really shoot to kill someone breaking into their home?
and the flip side – how many homeowners have killed a loved one in the middle of the night because they heard a noise downstairs?
As a pander to gun lovers it’s a failure anyway since she apparently does not know the difference between a rifle and a shotgun and they will spot that sham.
She has two sons, born 2004 and 2008. So we’ll have to wait a couple of years to see if they knock up their teen-age girlfriends.
LOL
More from the NRA: Get a concealed carry permit. Buy guns early and often and ammo too. Eveyone loves guns. They make excellent gifts. Don’t know what to buy? Buy a gun. Happiness is a warm gun. /s
Why don’t we dump ‘em people, to the bottom of the sea? ‘Fore some ol’ fool come around here, Try to shoot either you or me. – Lynyrd Skynyrd
That’s a good one. I keep guns, under the “better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it” rule, and partially for the same reason you’re thinking about-one just doesn’t know. However, my guns are stored safely while still being readily available, and everyone in the house is trained and competent in their safe handling and use. Anything less is irresponsible, in my view.
According to her bio, Gillibrand has two small children.
There is a greater likelihood of one of the kids being hurt by the guns then there is of them ever being used for protection.
I’m not opposed to responsible people owning guns.
Keeping loaded guns in the house where they could be found by small children is not responsible behaviour.
It’s reckless, stupid and a tragedy waiting to happen.
Why hide the guns? Why not carry them Rambo-style fulltime?
If they make it to their teenage years…
and it is a lot harder for a small child to accidentally shoot him/herself in the head with a shotgun while looking down the barrel and accidently pulling the trigger – which is how many children die from handguns.
There’s that.
My late husband kept a loaded handgun in his house when he lived in Sao Paolo. One day, one of his sons pointed it at the maid. They managed to get it away from him before harm was done, but geez, what a stooopid thing to have around.
On the twelfth day of Kirsten’s,
my true love sent to me
Twelve gunners gunning,
Eleven snipers sniping,
Ten lords all blazing,
Nine Smith & Wessons,
Eight maids a-firing,
Seven swans a-shooting,
Six-guns a-flaying,
Five magazines,
Four calling bullets,
Three French guns,
Two target doves,
And a cartridge in a pear tree
OT old business: Anybody know anything about state laws in Illinois that may apply to Burris now that he’s “found” his memory about fundraising for Blago while he was in the pot for Senate appointment?
And what’s this about Coleman working already on his appeals–fundraising being very, very good for him?
Jail ‘em all!
*Claps wildly!*
hey pun
Suz -
Is there some easy way to check whether a person like gillibrand actually *has* a weapons permit?
You obviously don’t have any NRA-member wingnut family members, or you’d know that Barack Obama wants to take our guns away and quintuple the tax on gun ammunition (among other things). The NRA rated its own page on fightthesmears.com (it was headed “Guns,” but it was all about NRA lies).
Sure, Gilly’s ignorant about guns. She don’t know shit from shinola where guns are concerned. But, the gun nuts will let her slide. She’s got guns. She’s alright.
Did you hear the one about the taxidermist? Bartender sez what do you do, stranger? Stranger sez he mounts animals. Bartender sez Its alright boys. He’s one of us.
Much applause and appreciation. You should email it to her.
Always a breath of fresh air (and a good chuckle), you are. :-)
hey pups
from the post-”I think a better question is why did she feel the need to disclose that she had guns. Was it because she felt the need to cater to the NRA? And why the location – under her bed – has she received threats? Perhaps she was trying to reach out to all New Yorkers, to show she is one of them. If so, what does that say about her perceptions of the residents of the state of New York?
What do you think?“
i think she had them under the bed because they wouldn’t fit in her closet and had nowhere else to put them, no gun cabinet…shoved them under the bed as an afterthought like some do with old purses and clothes you don’t wear any more…probably forgot about them until someone raised the gun issue, so, she says, YAYAH, I have guns…sure do…without thinking.
bet they had a lot of dust, and bet she has never cleaned one. five bucks.
that’s what i think happened.
oh geez – i think each state has their own system and rules. not sure what ny rules are on gun ownership and concealed weapons permits. iirc, most ccw’s have to be issued by the police chief in that jurisdiction, require a bankground check, have to have a legitimate justification and are kept confidential.
Damn, where’d you get that M-14? Serious firepower.
there’s a guy here that does that, says it’s his constitutional right, and many more who call into the radio station to defend him.
can’t go into the gas station to pay because of the ‘no guns’ rule there.
my wonderful editor found the picture raven
sure is eyecatching

Loved em. carried them in Korea and then when I got to the Nam they gave me this Mattel rig!
How big is his penis?
I always wonder about daytime callers. Do they have no jobs?
A new definition of insanity: unemployed and voting Republic.
dood do loodi do, oh yea
I’m still partial to an M1 myself (but then, that’s what we carried at my military HS) :})
howdy, ma’am
You still here? Trying to post my first diary (yes, a diary virgin), and I absolutely cannot figure out what it means when it says I must tag my post. Anyone?
Yeah, but you could shoot the Mattel rig on “FULL” and not wind up pointing at the sky!
Just imagine the rushbo frenzy if Coleman were a Democrat and was keeping a Republic from being seated.
i like the ‘five maaaagazinnnes’ it was a fun part to sing. lol
no personal knowledge
ROFL
There a box for tags on your screen. You just fill it in with key words that pertain to your diary. And good luck.
After you’ve bagged your first big game diary you need to see the game warden (a moderator, in blog parlance) about tagging your take.
tags are the things down at the bottom, ya put the categories – for example, this post is tagged with gillibrand’s name, guns, newsday. tags are search terms that help folks find your post
sorry for the out-of-season ear worm!
oh, all kinds of people, one works the riverboats, on 28 off 28, others night shift, others farmers, others retired, etc….all kinds. lots of people have to work weekends, so, sometimes have a weekday off.
oh, duh. I redid all my links that I entered using HTML, thinking I had to use the site’s link link. Cowabunga. Thanks.
Tags give the search engines something to key on. The area for Tags is at the bottom and would be things like the keywords of your diary.
And once you have entered tags, go back and re-format the diary because if you’ve tried to save and publish without tags, you most likely lost all of your original formatting.
descriptive words, individual, that would find your post in a google search.
what it’s about, in a word.
(and hurrah on the diary cherry being plucked)
Even with the pistol grip and bi-pod the M-14 A1 took off!
heh
lisa has a new post upstairs.
thanks for making me feel welcome in the daytime pups
Sounds like a fairly small crowd in any case. That means that Limpy doesn’t deserve the deference he’s shown.
I just California would take it off the no buy list… The M-14 is the one rifle I should have purchased before Grey Davis signed that dammed law!
no, pun, that is a great earworm!!!
fiiiiive maaaagaazinnnnesss!!!
one of my best friends looooooves to hum something that he knows sticks in my brain for days…i can’t wait to sing the gun song…..and
fiiiiive maaaagaziiines……it’ll stick for sure……knaw at his brain for weeks i bet….dish it out, i have ammo ready. thanks to punaise!!
it’s like that noise that al pacino made in the film, scent of a woman…hoooo-aaaaahhhh…..i said that for months, everytime my friend did an earworm song, i went hoooo-aaaaahhhh. drove everyone nuts. it worked.
We got them there guns here in Georgia!
I haven’t felt the need to shoot a firearm since I got out of the Army in 1968.
We have a dog who does not respond to verbal threats by strangers, and the number of people in my neighborhood who have been murdered in their bedrooms is low enough that I’m not worried.
Yep. It was a brute. I love the semi-auto only Springfield M1-A version, though.
Ta! Was sure there were differences depending on state but the “confidential” part is what I was most wondering about….as in whether or not it’s possible to fact check if she’s telling the truth….outside of knocking on her front door in the middle of the night. *g*
time for me to get some more coffee in me and do all my errands that must be done before i can work on my late late nite post tonight
thanks for the warm welcome and staying on topic for this post.
yeah, except for the fact that he’s not militant and he is articulate, so, i figure, he wants to carry a gun? he’d be the guy to save my life from a mugger. he’s that kind of guy, not a nutso. made me think about it. verdict still out. lot of self-sustaining people around here. different kind of place. everything from ron paul supporters to rastas, all get along.
thanks suz, i was cruisin’ through, but since i saw you and others i love here, i stopped to comment…..hoooo-aaaaaaah!!!!
Exactly, I have a couple of pea-shooters that belonged to my dad but none of them do I consider “self or home defense” weapons. If you do it right it means locked. loaded and placed all over the house. Screw that, if they get through the bodhisattva and my Louisville Slugger so be it.
Nice to see you in the light, Suz
I feel your pain and you are right about the health of the Texas Economy (I live in Texas.) The main reason for the great economy is our Law Suit Liminations. Businesses flock to Texas for Law Suit Avoidance just like companies go off shore for tax avoidance. Being a Liberal and a noisy one at that is not easy in Texas but someone has to do it.
Trouble is I am staying here in California… But there is a law suite pending to try and overturn that law based on the recent ruling by the SCOTUS! Then I will add one to my collection, funny thing though Big Five was just selling M-1 carbines. Which are just as if not more deadly to a human or a deer for that matter. Go figure. I got that info from the military channel.
(((Suzanne)))
Your welcome, hom. See you at Late Night.
Anybody that keeps a loaded gun in their home is an idiot.
mace and pepper spray work, and you don’t have to have as good of an aim.
of course, mace isn’t exactly legal, but pepper spray is.
LOL!!!
booyakasha!
I still think its bears she’s afraid of. Big cities are overrun with ‘em these days.
There’s a market for four-poster beds with gun turrets…
Well I think that you hit on the answer here. Gillibrand likely has one gun under the bed to protect gherself from her husband, and her husband has his under there to protect himself from her.
Well, being a ”black man with a gun,” I did take the NRA personal protection course some years ago. In fact, the one thing I was deeply impressed with was their absolutely fanatical devotion to firearm safety. It was drilled into the class constantly.
One thing that came through was that you should never have a loaded firearm where you can reach it before you’re completely awake.
If you’re gonna have one around for home protection (and the unspoken consensus was it’s really better to get a dog!), it should pe placed somewhere where you have to get up and walk to it to get it.
A noise wakes you up in the middle of the night– was that an intruder? Or was it a figment of your somnolent imagination? Are you awake and aware enough to tell the difference?
And that’s outside the fact that, as was said earlier, a rifle is a REALLY CRAPPY HOME DEFENSE WEAPON; those bullets will go through many walls and hit people you don’t want to hit.
I vote STUPID.
Great point, missed it somehow.
epu’d—cuz i listened to it three times.
that was great
“what did lincoln give america-apart from the town car?”
omg!!!!
so obvious, yet never hit me. i’m too analytical to see the literal…that’s why i love the puns so much. keeps me honest.
and meant to tell you and raven-and any other music fan–one of the things my sister gave to me for my birthday is a book about the top 100 albums of all time for my birthday…
#1 is Revolver.
Revolver Medley

too good for words. enjoy. thanks.
you always point out the one thing that wasn’t said. lol.
how’s borneo?
and start showing up during a thread cinn, you almost did. almost. close. almost there.
with pepper spray you have to turn the top thingy, press and turn, have to grip it, so, you’d be awake….and noone is going to expect pepper spray…and their eyes are wide-open….doesn’t matter if you both get sprayed, they have to find their way out, you only have to be able to dial 911, which anyone can do in their sleep..
just point ‘out’
Duh, wouldn’t a house and yard alarm system keep her from being so scared….and consequently a lot less stupid than advertising that she has two guns “hidden” under her bed?
Silly showboating; hope Gillibrand wises up.
Can’t see a reason for telling folks she’s got guns; can’t see any reason to tell folks where the guns are kept. Lotsa silliness.
She needs a mentor — is Schumer too busy holding Wall Street paws full of money to help a lady out?
(Nice to see you in the daytime, Suzanne!)
too funny – I only watched it as far as “booyakasha”, in response to “Hoow-hah!”
…
nice guitar work, great album
Any moron who keeps guns under the bed where they are easily accessible to children does not deserve any right to own a gun. That is reckless child endangerment. This is exactly why the imbecilic decision of the wingnuts on the Supreme Court needs to be reversed and pronto. Unfortunately, the comments reflect that there are other brain-dead types out there with a dangerous weapon who should not even be allowed anywhere near devices that can kill.
