- Tragedy in upstate New York.
Generational TheftEconomic Recovery Act to pass today.- But…but…most Americans oppose the stimulus.
- Worse than Japan?
- Hopefully, Gregg’s withdrawal kills this "bipartisan" stuff.
- He was for the stimulus, before he was against it.
- A blow to Obama?
- Good news.
- Leon’s getting larger.

It would be nice toi imagine that the Gregg thing was all planned as a way to destroy the slacker jerk that he is, but putting the light on him. Whether that was the plan or not, it was the result. And probably one less rethug will be around to kick. I am so devastated at this failure at bi partisanshit.
I suspect that as things continue to spiral down, the people will become more and more vocal. There’s no good news on the economy and the stim rubbish is not gonna fix this very broke system. The bankers need to be tarred and feather and deported to Caymans and their accounts siezed.
Let the class wars begin in earnest and let’s see who wins when the masses bang their pots light their torches and storm the bastille in their SUVs?
From CNN.com
Mrs Eckert fought for more land to be included in the Ground Zero memorial and was one of the wives Ann Coulter accused of benefiting from her husbands death. I can’t wait for Coulter’s take on this.
Joe Klien:
The Obama team needs to be reminded that the Carter administration was undermined by moles of the Rethug party brought into the administration under the guise of “bipartisanship.”
Do we really even need a Commerce Secretary? Fuck it. That’s what I say.

Friday the 13th. Hmmm, maybe ought to go back to bed.
Have been drastically reducing my intake of teevee news but, in reading the Washington Journal line-ups recently, it would appear there has been a concerted effort to give the thug representative (on whatever position) the last word. :-( Must say the reduction has resulted in a noticeable improvement in mental attitude. :-)
I think everybody stayed in bed this mornin’.
With 3 black tigers I gotta find a ladder to walk under.
Well, they don’t have anything of import to say so why bother watching them repeat the mantra:

Tax cuts is the answer, what was the question?

White people should rule the world

Mornin’, sister. Vote(s) today are gonna be interesting.
On NBC Early Show, Matt Lauer described the NY plane crash and played the last tapes of the female pilot’s voice. No indication of trouble on the tape, her voice was steady and she responded to landing instructions from the control tower. Crash was less than 5 miles from the airport and Lauer said the plane seemed to suddenly dive into the ground and hit only one house.
Does this seem familiar to anyone else?
have a good day SD.
Christy’s up!
Ooooooh….SNAP! Axelrod Hands Cheney And Rove Their STFU Papers
yes. i was just looking for a unanimous consent agreement or something to indicate what the plan if for the senate vote, but i didn’t find anything – although it may be just that i don’t know where to look, i find the senate much harder to follow than the house.
will be watching at 10am when the senate starts its day, usually reid will have some statement of what the plans for the day are.
An OT on gas prices.
Crude is $34.50/barrel this morning on CNBC, which is less than 1/4 of the fraudulent high of $147 reached last summer.
Following the same ratio, retail gas prices should then be somewhere around $1.10/gallon.
Even at $2 a gallon, we’re still getting screwed.
And, did anyone ask the “Masters of the Financial Universe” the other day on Capitol Hill, just wtf is up with taking stimulus money to buy oil and store it offshore in tankers until prices go higher?
You got it, Toyota! Perfect epitome.
