I guess those clowns at Pajamas Media are gluttons for ridicule (beginning of video here).
After it’s over, you must watch Joe’s "investigation" of the stimulus bill, in which he shares priceless insights such as,
The money that they’re talking about spending is just absolutely incredible. You can’t get your mind around it. We used to think a million dollars was just the most incredible thing. Then it went to billions and now we’re talking trillions. And trillions is such a large number we just can’t wrap our mind around it, at least I can’t.
When Joe tells me he can’t wrap his mind around something, I believe him.
Later, he interviews gives Jim DeMint and Tom Coburn camera time to spout Republican talking points, but his question to Sherrod Brown steals the show.
I mean, I cut cable when I realize that I’m not making enough money to cover my bills, I use coupons. Shouldn’t we expect the government to cut some programs?
Like the man said: cut bills, kick ass.

LOL! Funniest thing I’ve read today! Thanks:):)
JC

there are no words….
on Darwiin’s birthday no less….
omg.
retro…
retrofit…
retro unfit….
a mind is a terrible thing to have wasted
Geez Joe the Plumber is an expert on everything !
Look how much help he gave McCain !
someone just needs to point out to this moron that bush’s stimulous was far more then this one and we didn’t even have a catastropic economy
I thought PJM was closing up shop>
With a name like Pajamas Media, why wouldn’t one take them seriously?
Joe the Plumber ,the repugs idea of a regular Joe !
Man what an insult to regular Joes !
The Republic rebound: Jeb/Joe 2012
how does a guy like that get airtime? how can he possibly have a job?
Why the fuck is the house debating/blathering about a resolution re: the steelers winning the super bowl? has everything else been solved? and for 30 minutes for fucks sake
I thought he quit paying taxes first
on Darwiin’s birthday no less
Is Joe the Plumber proof that Darwin’s Theory of Evolution had an expiration date?
Is that Lindsey Graham in Joe’s pocket or is he just glad to see him?
What is it with the bald-headed fetish among the closeted GOPs?
more like Palin/Wurzelbacher ‘12, running on the KnowNothing Party ticket. They should still be able to win WY and OK.
and my man Joe The Biden.
when is this guy ever gonna go away? as long as there’s FOX news, i guess never.
speaking of which, saw 2 minutes of Fox & Friends thios morning. They “did the math” and the stimulus bill means $13 per week for every taxpayer. that’s not enough to stimulate the ecomnomy!!! and i’ve been missing these solid arguments against the stimulus bill every morning? how could I?
Please Lord make him stop! I swear I will never sin again!
Joe the Plumber ,came from a dead end branch of the evolutionary tree !
Does anyone know what this guys education history is?
Has he graduated from high school? Any College…..has he taken Econ 101? Only because McCain said he was something….. not imaginary…. that we have to take this guys word on anything……
AND try to get this guys head around how much went down the big black hole in Iraq? Or the other big black hole in Bush Tax cuts?
John Gardner wrote “An excellent plumber is infinitely more admirable than an incompetent philosopher.”
With Joe, we hit the daily double incompetency race.
JustJoe as opposed to say, UnjustJoe? Brilliant! And that taxi driver held hostage by Joe’s rhetorical questioning was working hard for that tip, like a Real American. Again Joe shows his ignorance about the debate and the issue, he didn’t get Obama’s sharing the wealth comment and turned that into marxist socialism and the destruction of his America and here he seems confused around spending and balancing the budget and the purpose for the stimulus. But hey he’s JustJoe, we should Ask Dr. Laura what he thinks, she is a mind reader isn’t she?
Ditto!
BT! Thanks for the laugh
If Joe the plumber was a real plumber he’d be busy as hell!
Try finding a plumber on short notice , good luck !
End 2 wars cut military spending.
the goopers are clutching at straws !
Joe the Plumber is the best they can do?
Just who is fronting Joe the Media creation? Just what are his poll numbers? What percentage of Americans think that he is not a GOP Plant/ GOP Media Creation?
How many people view Joe favorably? Unfavorably? How many people have Lizard Brain reactions to Joe good or bad?
As Joe the Plumber shows, evolution is as much about adaptation as it is about deadends.
Pajamas Media, the wingnut welfare operation.
It truly amazes me that anyone, and I do mean anyone, gives Joe the Plumber or Fixed News any credibility at all.
It simply boggles the mind, that people pay any attention to either of these!
He claims he was just out in his yard throwing the ball around when Obama showed up and Sam asked him a question. Obama directly answers the core of his question, spends an amazing amount of time conversing with him, and now Sam is so inspired to be the voice of His people.
Now it was just coincidence Sam was throwing the ball when Obama came by. It’s just coincidence this happened just before a big Prez debate, where Sam was referenced constantly. Just coincidence that Sam the Charlatan has the same last name, and an unusual one at that, as one of the Charles Keating’s right-hand men who also knew McInsane well. Just coincidence that this plumber’s assistant has been on a constant PR offensive, with a very willing BigMedia helping out every step of the way, ever since that day he went out to throw the ball around. How magical for him!
but they don’t
the wing nuts are still in the “we make our own reality” zone
Thought they were going to subscription only? I wonder if Joe’s gravy Train might be derailed by the economy?
Joe The Plumber. Doesn’t say whether he has passed his genes onto any children (scanned quickly) but does link to his media consultant.
Just a coincidence a Camera crew was there and caught the whole thing on tape.
Just a coincidence I think it was Fox News?
Just a coincidence that Joe lied about how much money he made when in reality the Obama tax plan would let him keep more of his own money?
Hmmm I want names of who is paying this guy and writing his material.
according to that link he might actually have a recording deal, I can’t wait to hear him sing
think he’s as good as bill the captain?
*if you click the link I ask forgiveness in advance*
The only problem, at least for my state they are talking about cutting children’s health care, education, other programs for at-risk children, er . . let’s see watchdog agencies, more state workers, yet another mental hospital(it’s going to take millions apprently “consolidate” so I don’t know what the hell the gov. thinks she’s doing), and so on. I’ve probably missed a lot. But Joe should consider this (Joe Lieberman as well). Metro North cars are so f*cked and out of date, that the New York Times has done articles on it and quoted people as saying the only good thing about Metro North is the sense of humour of the employees and so on. Our schools are moldy (yes even in some of the “wealthy” suburbs) and falling apart. Our public transportation is sh*t. And when you ask people what they want, particularly in the Hartford, New Haven area: they say more investment in infrastructre, less on war. So basically some people don’t have “cable they can cut,” to “pay the bills” so to speak. We have used up sticks of chewing gum.
Stop scaring me. I think Joe and Michelle Malkin could breed some Orcs though.
Millions, billions, trillions. It’s mostly zeros, so nothing there to get Joe’s head around.
Joe’s mind wrapped around the axle, long ago.
OMFG. Americans for Prosperity?? People who were preyed upon are “selfish”???
I’m so mad I could spit.
I wish I could be there to hear this speech.

oooooh yeah!
Great example of what Darwin was talking about.
Republicans are counter-evolution (wait for it….)
Sam the Charlatan is “Old Shoe.” It’s really quite simple.
I am amazed his bar does not disbar him
whoops.

Effective March 31, they are closing their blogs. PJTV will remain, for the time being.
that’s what has always gotten me from the beginning. i don’t know if Obama ever soent more time with one single person on the campaign trial ever. he gave joe an extraordinary amount of time.
Indeed..why, I wonder?
Bush being paid to speak? This is an obvious attempt to funnel him money I defy anyone to find one subject that Bush is qualified to speak about let alone get paid for.
Anyone have any idea what the inane blatherings of a Chimp are worth these days?
Robert Reich has a few things to say about the madness behind the wingnuts. Not that you didn’t know this.
You can’t wrap your mind around something when you head is embedded in cement.
how to be a toxic asset?
It’s sort of a variation on the Samson and Delilah theme. Unfortunately for Joe, all his intelligence was in his hair.
We’re laughing out loud, but Joe’s got the Hitler touch, without the brains. But the H-man got started in just the same way, a dumb outsider who learned how to work the crowd. Not saying Joe will go anywhere, but the parallel is there. Palin was too much of a grifter to pull it off.
this was an interview with the douchebag right after he talked to obama. he sez Obama doesn’t believe in the American Dream.
PM: Do you think your question surprised Obama, caught him off guard at all?
JW: Well that was actually my intent. Most people, you ask them “do you believe in the American Dream?” Nine times out of ten they’ll sit there and go, >“Yeah, of course!” That’s where he messed up, because as soon as I asked him that, his answer shows that he doesn’t believe in the American Dream.
what does “The American Dream” mean, Joe was asked:
JW: Me personally, my American Dream was to have a house, a dog, a couple rifles, a bass boat.
Oh God!! Obama’s gonna take our doggies away!!!!
If I tape my Raggedy Ann giving her views on the economy, I can assure you she won’t make stupid comments about how all will be well if you cut cable bills.
Lets just keep giving them rope. and selling tickets to the hanging.
If anybody here is up for an adventure..if you register, all Joe’s plans will be revealed.

I think I understand now how he’s maintained his…. wahtever it is….
I was poor; my mom raised me and my brother by herself for a very long time until my dad came along.
Mom raised him until his Dad came along? Dad came later? Virgin birth? Oh. My. God!!!!!
I just got this quote from a link aquarious sited on christies page, notice my bold;
and now one of the architects, one of the very people who caused depression we face was hired to guard the roost
That does make one ponder.
he might have been one of the few people who attended his own parents wedding
Pretty good bet Joe was conceived at some type of family gathering.
laughing out loud in my office
Alot like Joe….I am always amazed that these losers are so eager to spout their advice.
barney frank
Wow. A melanin-enhanced man who grew up in a working class apartment building who goes on to be the first melanin-enhanced US President in history “doesn’t believe in the American Dream?”
Sam the Charlatan is still getting his every word repeated no matter how meaningless it is. Pure PR operation through and through.
I was struck by not only how much time Obama spent with him, but how in depth he went with the issue they talked about. Before the PR plan launched in full effect, I had seen the clip and thought for sure Obama had won him over as a voter because of Obama’s answer, so was surprised when yes, Sam shows up on Pox ripping Obama later.
Poor George….the audience forgot he doesn’t know how to speak.
LOL!!! Arrggg, shit..it had to be Canadian right wingers..I am so embarrassed. Being a war criminal and bring down a country’s financial system pays, I guess, judging by the list. They even paid Mr. ” They told us Building 7 was going to come down” Rudy.

On a serious note, I think the more time that the wingnuts spend showcasing Joe the Plumber, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, the deeper the hole they dig. I’m all for it.
This Joe guys is like the guy you meet at a party and never leaves you the fuck alone. They should just tell him to go home and do some “grass roots” work
Poll results appear pretty consistent in suggesting that 31 percent of the population is completely delusional. No surprise that they also comprise most of the Sarah, Joe, and Rush demographic.
that is just aweful…. Barney Fank is a disgrace.
Depth of the answer? Not so, sez “Joe.”
PM: Now did Obama tell you that you would receive some sort of tax cut?
JW: He talked about suspending capital gains to a certain amount… To be honest with you, I don’t want to say I tuned him out – because as he started, he pretty much regurgitated what he said in his debate, first one, second one, and a lot of his rallies. What he said to me was pretty much word for word what he’s been saying for the last couple months. So when he started down that path, it’s like, ”Okay, I’ve already heard this, Obama, give me something different.”
PM: There was nothing new in his answer?
JW: No, there was nothing new. You know, I didn’t appreciate that, actually.
Yes, but only 39% “believe” in evolution. Happy 200th birthday to Charles Darwin.
hahahaha…What the heck is he going to say? Seriously..I expect that it will be quite the mob he brings with him..FBI protection..Yoo..etc etc. I know..he is going to tape record a speech that Yoo writes and then he will stand there and mouth the words, or something similar. I’m sure he hasn’t had a sober day since he left office, so things might get interesting. I bet there are no questions allowed..just blah blah blah…and then..gimmee my money.
frightening stuff here
some unredacted reporst on our conduct, a few people died from the torture
I really thing we can mount enough pressure where obama must persue investigation
Or Rush, Hannity, Ingram, Medved, Coulter, O’Reilly, etc.
They all left the real world years ago.
really…the fact that reagan’s deregulation, giving my money to the wealthiest people on the planet in some bizarre welfare scheme to the wealthy, and dismantling the new deal, bush’s doing the same.
and revesing that theft that left us here today is awful
if not snark then you live in an alternative universe
Here are the most important things a plumber has to know; cold on the right, hot on the left, crap runs down hill and payday is on Friday. This guy is just playing the Republicans for all it’s worth. And they think he is some kind of marketing ploy. I hope they keep him around until the next election at least. Sooner or later some Republicans will be rocked back to reality and realize what a drag this guy is. He is NOT an expert in everything. Or anything or he would have obtained a license or payed his taxes on time.
Probably why the markets are down today; the crooks know the end is near, and they’re pouting about it.
Amusing
At the moment, the three shining lights of the GOP are Joe the Plumber, Sarah Palin, and Rush Limbaugh. I’m not kidding– they represent the vanguard of Republican thought these days. Yikes….
“Let’s not make crimes out of policy differences.”
Cass Sunstein, soon to be Obama administration’s regulatory czar — head of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA).
uggg
so running in oh twelve will be sarah with joe as vp
sounds like a plan
You owe me a drink. (see my 70)
This needs to be shouted from the rooftops.
I don’t know. We are talking about Barney Frank here. I haven’t heard word one about re-imposition of Glass-Steagall. Will naked swaps be outlawed. Don’t know yet. Maybe. What about equity backed CDSs or limitations on CDOs. Other than some trading on exchanges, which pushes the problem around but doesn’t solve it, again haven’t heard anything. Nationalizing the Fed or credit ratings agencies? Zilch. Any rules for banks to declare losses or else their directors are liable for them (selise’s catch about the Swedish model)? Again nothing. Anything about limitation of bank size to prevent banks too big to fail? More nothing.
I think it is a given that whatever we see in terms of regulation is going to be bits and pieces with loopholes that you could fly a zeppelin through.
Watch “Democrats were WARNED of Financial crisis and did NOTHING” on YOUTUBE. Barney Frank is not the person I want to be working with my money.
Yup, I had commented on that somewhere a day or so ago. There is ever so much worse out in the public domain now. The war in Iraq was basically lost after the first attack on Fallujah. That is what started the blow back. The Iraqis knew for sure at that point what they were dealing with. It takes a long time to read all of the information, but it is a real eye opener as to the war crimes done by the military. Torture is but the tip of the iceberg. The report was supposed to be kept from the public domain forever. I’ve said it before..where charges are concerned, Obama would have to ‘bring down’ the whole DOD and the Pentagon. Not going to happen.

” Is Congress going to introduce a bill calling for the restoration of the Fairness Doctrine? Dark predictions continue to emanate from various experts auguring an attempt to revive it. But according to the Library of Congress’ Thomas guide on Congressional action, the only active Fairness Doctrine-related bills in the House and Senate would bar the FCC from ever bringing the policy back again.
” Some lawmaker out there is obviously interested in the Doctrine, though, because the Congressional Research Service has recently published an analysis (PDF) of the regulation’s history and prospects, one that recently showed up on Wikileaks. What does it conclude? Its main findings can’t be encouraging to pro-Fairness Doctrine schemers lurking around the corridors of Capitol Hill.
“Any attempt to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine likely would be met with a constitutional challenge,” the study warns. “Whether a newly instituted Fairness Doctrine would survive constitutional scrutiny remains an open question.” “

Read New Deal or Raw Deal by Burton Folsom Jr. It delves into FDR’s actions and New Deal policies. I don’t want that plus they would be even more destructive in today’s economy for many reasons. 1. Back then we were on the gold standard so we spent money we had not borrowed or printed money to spend. 2. The global economy has expanded a great deal since then and is nothing like then. We lagged the world in the recovery anyway
Not sure when “Democrats were WARNED” but since Republicans controlled the House from ‘94-’06, basically blocking anything the Dems proposed (especially when Tom Delay was Majority Leader), and held the Senate for most of the time from ‘94 – ‘06 (except for ‘01/02) and with Bush in the WH vowing vetos and Mitch McConnell filibustering everything the Dems might have proposed to stop whatever they were warned about; not sure what warning the Dems about potential financial meltdowns over that period would have gained anyone.
to allow at least an oversight panel on Freddie mac and Fannie mae when the white house pushed for action and raised its accessment to Systemic risk regarding Fannie and Freddie
Well gee, since it was a Republican in the White House, a Republican controlled US House and a Republican controlled US Senate, of COURSE it’s the DEms fault this action was never taken. How foolish of me to think otherwise.
Hey! No fair! When I linked to Pajamas, I got a big ol’ moderator smack-down!
More face time, Joe. And Linsey, can you move in a little closer to Joe? We need a photo for posterity to show what the Republican party looked like before it went extinct
Join the ‘crowd’..that makes at least two of us..’g’. When I got kneecapped, I protested censorship on a progressive website. I am a firm believer in know thy enemy. There was lots of sites promoting Palin a year before the rest of us heard about her..this was one of the first.
And in a startling announcement, the White House reported yesterday that it discovered that it was paying a stunning $100 billion a month to Cox Communications for “extended basic digital” cable, which equals the entire $1.2 trillion national deficit over a year.
Upon learning of this, President Barrack Obama said, “my bad”, and promised immediate cancellation to erase the national deficit.
In completely unrelated news, the national deficit increased to $2.4 trillion today when government receipts on payroll taxes went to zero as every person in America was laid-off due to an unexpected downturn in the high-tech/digital media sector, which rippled to every other sector that supported those jobs.
What I want to know is if he has trouble with the one or the zeros? I mean, it’s one thing if he is worried about something (one) or if he’s more confused by the nothings (zeros). See, it’s a philosophical question every plumber has to understand. He has to plumb the depths of what those zeros really really really mean.
Of course, he could just skip all that and read the talking points.
