I personally have a problem with anyone who has worked for the enemy, which is exactly what I consider the C of C. The Chamber of Commerce has not missed an opportunity to step on the American worker, well, forever. </p> <p>Whether or not his heart is actually in the right place or not, I find it disconcerting that we are seeing so many people being placed into important governmental positions who have a work history which have required the surrendering of their soul to the devil for financial gain. Now they want into the Government to work for what? Jimmy Carter had a notoriously tough time because of his bringing in people who were not wired into Washington. Over the ensuing 30 plus years the movement between Washington & private industry/lobby/special interest groups has been growing. This is one of the major issues that we fought for in the past elections. Of course there will be additional vetting through the judicial committee of the senate but it would be best if we did not rely on this final backstop as each approval comes through.
