I’ve been struggling with how to write this post for quite some time. In the annals of ginned-up Fauxgates by the GOP/Media Complex, this has got to be one of the fauxest: The president of a respected group of American Muslims, who is scheduled to speak at Obama’s inaugural, is being smeared for “ties to Hamas” so bogus that a prosecutor in a case involving Hamas objected to the group’s being lumped in with them.
