280189910_c14cc4a553_m.jpgThe Anchor Baby wants the GOP to be the party of Doing Nothing:

President Obama thinks he knows what the primary objective of Republicans in Washington should be: to "get things done."… Since when did it become the Republican Party’s top priority to "get things done"? It was as annoying a campaign platitude when John McCain adopted it as it is now coming from Obama’s lips.

So true. Except for that RINO McCain, real Republicans never talk like that, because real Republicans know that "get things done" is just librul code for "make Big Gubmnit bigger."

Dennis Hastert:

We look forward to working together to get things done for the American people.

Tom DeLay:

Well I hope that they hate me because I’m effective, because I get things done.

Rudy Giuliani:

The most important thing is, can somebody deliver? Can they get something done? Well, here’s what I have to offer: I know how to get things done.

John Boehner:

By passing a bipartisan economic-growth package earlier this year, Congress has proven that when Democrats are willing to work with Republicans, we can get things done for the American people.

George W. Bush:

What I’m telling you is we [Republicans] stand for some things, and we get things done for the American people.

Well, those guys are so yesterday. They’re not part of the new awesome Conservatism 2.0, led by Malkin’s gal ‘Cuda Palin.

SarahPAC believes the Republican Party is at the threshold of an historic renaissance that will build a better future for all. Health care, education, and reform of government are among our key goals.

I guess the "key goal" Palin doesn’t mention is doing nothing — which she’d presumably get to after she does all that other stuff.
