Right. And it seems to me, this is exactly the slippery slope one starts to descend when trying to tie it down. I guess “legal violence” is violence when we do it and “illegal violence” is violence when they do it.

Terrorism is a recognized legal term and even contributing to “terrorist organizations” or “making terrorist threats” are federal crimes.

It would be interesting to see how terrorism per se is actually defined under law.
