Add Michael Gerson to the list of conservative thinkers (I use that term loosely here) who forgot to get off the bus. Gerson, a former speechwriter for George Bush, is now a columnist for the Washington Post. I’m guessing that the Post hired him on for some comedy relief on the Op-Ed page. In GSO, but could be hit or miss – generally avoid FM. Like WF, it gets out of hand pronto. A local bakery/cafe sells it by the bottle. That’s where I usually indulge. Amaretto toast and Blenheim – yum.

While googling earlier (great minds and all), I hit on a too easy narrative recipe for ginger beer. Gonna give it a whirl. If it really works, hallelujah. Just tons of ginger chopped, sugar and water. Ginger galore at the farmers mkt.
