There was a State of the Union speech a coupla years ago where it literally looked like DeadEye was gonna keel over right on the spot. My better half and I seriously thought it was happening, then you could see him pop a pill, and he seemed to regain composure.

Considering what bumbling fools Shrub (”Pretzel” fall, several bike and Segway falls, various goofs) and Cheney (”Go f–k yourself, shoots friend in face, falls asleep all the time at public events, can’t move a box, etc) are, it just shows how severe an advantage Repubs have in our current BigMedia environment.

An actual Press would’ve revealed these Keystone Kop Killers for what they really are. Instead, BigMedia provides cover for them, and is now helping them re-write history to extend the cover-up to future generations. Next up, watch for a bunch of efforts to get various things named after Shrub. It’ll start soon.

Good Morning! I’m going out in a little while to buy the NYTimes. I bought the paper on Sunday and Monday, I’ll continue the tradition today and tomorrow. After the election I went to three places at 7:30 in the morning before I could find a copy of the Times. Unfortunately being a neat freak, I put it in the recycling bin. duh

Normally your sensibilities serve you and all of us well, sometimes they don’t, one can never foretell. Once it becomes obvious that contributing to the dialogue is not the agenda, then the mods should be able to step in and require linkages to facts, to sources before any further comments will be accepted. It is not feasible to educate a thing that is unwilling to hear, pearls fed to swine.

t-bear and waccamaw – it’s not the first time i’ve made the same mistake. it’s not goodness, or even patience i think my problem is that i’ve gone through some pretty big changes in my world view and that makes me think others can, and may in fact want to, also. i don’t buy the “they will never change” but i also really have very little discernment to help me identify when engagement might be useful and when not.
