The table of contents on the report is encouraging – appointing a special counsel – clemency for critics – more protection for executive branch officials. The sad thing is that the entire report is full of IMPEACHABLE offenses.

Obama has to hold off and play nice with the thugs and the MSM until Holder is confirmed. After that the H-Man is on his own. It’s important that he get the post without having to promise the thugs he isn’t going to prosecute them.

perris, At that time I sent a letter of appreciation for their prior work but also pointed out their responsibility to uphold the constitution – - sort of ‘for God’s sake, do your duty’. Most on the House Judiciary Committee did vote against passage of FISA. I will never forgive Obama’s voting for it.

I think that a prime reason that our political leaders and the media are so eager to move forward is that they don’t want to delve into their own participation in the disasters of the Bush Administration.

this is exactly what i want to look for in the report - is it an attempt to whitewash conyers’ legacy of complicity? or is does it contain some element of self reflection and acceptance of partial responsibility?

your dreaming if you think BushCo will be held to any laws. BushCo will be protected from all responsibilty, being gently held in the loving arms of Reid, Pelosi and Obama. Conyers is a complete joke. Cheney keeps his toothless subpoenas on a roll in the Whitehouse bathroom and literally laughs at the idea of being prosecuted. Obama will start his term being just one more of the BushCo criminals. Aiding and abetting is still a crime down there isn’t it? If the people don’t hold his feet to the fire he will not do his duty.
