Thanks.. I just discovered Leonwalls… Liked their video with old Olympics footage as much as the song at first.. After a couple listens I checked out their myspace page and boy are they really new. Actually have a couple a good songs on their playlist. Who knows, we may hear more form this band in no time.

And Blitzen is almost always good, imho.

Evening folks;’The funeral was great as was the man it was for. A giving man, a father and grandfather. A teacher unparalled in Soil Science. He gave his consulting money for scholarship. He retired to 1/2 year 6 monmths ago. He taught ethics and Sunday school fro his Presbyterian Church. He was fun and witty and had a sharp mind that you would not want to challenge as he always had the arguments well thought out. He sent out students into the world for three decades. The sanctuary was filled with ove 400 persons of good character a reflection of all he gave to the community, truly a wonderful experience.

So who’s Blitzen Trapper? Listened to another tune of theirs — Wild Mountain Nation — and they sounded like The New Grateful Dead after a while, although at first I thought they might be early Band. Thanks for introducing me to them. That “Furr” melody has a hook that seems to echo something something “and I’m tryin’ to get some sleep but these motel walls are cheap” dah-dah-dah … Simon & Garfunkel?
