This Wilson fellow needs to get out more and see more movies. “Being responsible for your decisions and putting your family before your career” is only the theme of every single movie Hollywood ever produced. Everything from Mary Poppins to The Devil Wears Prada develops that theme. The Godless Pinko Liberal Oliver Stone included that theme in Wall Street, but Wilson was probably too busy mentally fellating Gordon Gecko to notice.

Oh, but they have controlled it at times. H’wood provides every possible tool a propagandist could want, plus lots of raw material of all kinds.

Hays Code

Part of me wants to see it too, but the trailer looked SO BAD. I don’t know if I could stomach it, even more study purposes.

I have not seen “Click”. But that guy Wilson gives it 4 stars.

It’s a high-concept story that is both funny and poignant with enough star power to draw a crowd. And in the end, the message is about being responsible for your decisions and putting your family before your career…

It must be good film, having been nominated for Best Make-up. Plus it has Christopher Walken. More Cowbells!!!

Click is a 2006 fantasy-dramedy film directed by Frank Coraci and written by Steve Koren and Mark O’Keefe. Click tells the story of Michael Newman (Adam Sandler), an overworked architect so wrapped up in his job because of his boss John Ammer (David Hasselhoff) that his family is forced to take the backseat. He gets a “universal remote” from an eccentric engineer named Morty (Christopher Walken), and finds he can literally control the universe around him. It began filming in late-2005 and was finished by early-2006. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Makeup.

To a neo-con, controlling the universe with a remote control is high concept. Actually the neo-cons have been controlling everything remotely for the last eight years. They have done a heck of a job.

It’s so powerful, and they don’t control it.
Waaaah!
That’s how I see it.
Telling and showing stories is one of the most powerful thing there is. It can change lives, when done well.
(That’s where they fail.)
