New Years Day event. BART cops (public transit) had a bunch of people laying face down on one of the BART stops. One of the cops shot one of them, who was unarmed.

Still, the same stories could be recast in terms of middle east politics of today. The sugar rockets of Hamas are close to stone-age compared to the 21st century sophistication of the IDF weaponry, etc.

For me it was when I moved to Omaha, NE.. and one of my (Elementary school) classmates was a member of the Sioux tribe/nation. When he brought his elders into the gym for a full on dance.. it forever changed my view.

I don’t know. It seems mad for either Hezbollah to pick a fight or for Israel to escalate into a new and much more difficult front at this time.

in Morgan Co, Ala jailed for contempt over the quality of food being served to prisoners.

Appears there is a long (and legal) tradition in AL of sheriffs pocketing funds “saved” from food budgets. Seems these prisoners were fed corn dogs for weeks on end.
