The urge to be nice to their own blinds them to how their actions appear to the outside (to any non-crazy person). </p> <p>I hope Obama will use the bully pulpit to force the issue in the senate to get past the supposedly impenetrable 60-vote barrier. He should play tough when need be, go the public and say we have some very important legislation ready to go, but certain parties (name names) are being obstructionist. In this way he could make Reid and his truly lethal incompetence irrelevant.
