And if I’m not mistaken, at the end of H R 35, it states that George Bush’s executive order of November 1, 2001 will have no power or force. Here’s what his EO states from that time:

Yeah, I realize that. But you and I both know the Washington game is played behind closed doors, whispered “deals” made during cocktail parties, and people shown the door just when they weren’t expecting it. Obama may not be able orchestrate the change, but he does know how to play poker (to borrow an analogy *g*).

I love Burris now because he’s been appointed by a Governor who has not been formally charged with a crime, has not been impeached, and is a LEGAL GOVERNOR at the moment and well within his right to pick someone to fill a vacant Senate seat, and is a guy who will be seated once it’s all said and done? Okay. You’re right. I do love him. The fact that you don’t tells me you like it when the laws of our nation are skirted or a loophole is found, correct?

Or maybe this means these records will be allowed to be released? Not sure. Could be, though, because I think it was George Bush who sealed Clinton’s & Bush Sr’s records in early 2001.

Yes…he IS making last minute appointment that have nothing to do with senate confirmation. Not ALL appointments a President makes requires Senate approval.

Anyone watching C-SPAN right now? The House is voting on a bill to suppress records of previous presidents (or something to that effect….I just got a glimpse of it before the ticker disappeared). What the hell.
