Now somebody representing me (even if he is a career politician) is going to take better measure of the “crown jewels”. Democratic opposition from Fienstein and Rockefeller is self-serving; they were compliant about torture. This is a moral issue, not a political one. It is an issue to sacrifice for. They were immoral to not scream bloody murder (a sealed letter of concern doesn’t cut it), and I don’t care if the reason was fear. America needed heros. America needs heros and I want governance…whistleblowers and new people on the inside with institutional memory like Panetta to put 2 & 2 together.<br /> When are those two senate terms up? (If I had their history, I’d not run again. But then I hope I wouldn’t have made their intel choices in the last eight years.)
