Ecahn, Israel released a statement over the weekend stating that Hamas used schools, clinics and mosques to hide weapons. I also read that 45% of the wounded were women and children. BBC has adequate, not great, coverage of the events as the unfold.

No one told DiFi or Rockefeller.

All they need to be told is to STFU.

SD, I thought it was Jane that seemed nervous last night. That said, it is great to see her on the teebee.

Good Morning all. Richardson has hired a lawyer known for experience in white collar crime.

ALL of the appointees to the Senate face election. I am not sure of their place in the Senate queue. . .two years or four from now. So no matter what the appointee’s experience is, with or without a side of politics, each will have to face the voters at a minimum in two years.

Jane is correct. Harry needs to follow the law.

I saw this comment at Daily Dish but I did not link to the web site..
Israel’s just playing by Chicago rules: “They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That’s the Chicago way!”
How you can compare bombing, schools, clinics, mosques to Chicago is beyond me. Thousands are now wounded with inadequate medical care and several hundred are dead.

I watched most of Harry Smith’s interview with Coulter. Wish I had seen the beginning. He pretty much let it be known what he thought of her. He said she was the one doing the whining and playing the victim. At the end he said she needed a cross, or something to that effect.

And to think not long ago I was wondering when she would get her voice back. She had been relatively quiet for some time.

What would Raygun and Grover do in a room full of manly men? They need to go to the the facebooks and twitters to get the yunguns. They also enjoy touching each others knees.

“We have to do it in the Facebook, with the Twittering, the different technology that young people are using today,” Duncan ventured.

“Let me just say that I have 4,000 friends on Facebook,” contributed Blackwell, putting his hand on Dawson’s and Anuzis’s knees. “That’s probably more than these two guys put together, but who’s counting, you know?” Acknowledged Saltsman: “I’m not sure all of us combined Twitter as much as Saul.”

Anuzis claimed he had “somewhere between 2- and 3,000″ Facebook friends, which prompted Blackwell to remind the audience that he has 4,000 friends on the social networking site by waving four fingers behind Anuzis’s head.

Next, they compare the size of their guns.

The candidates were significantly more comfortable when asked how many guns they own. Duncan claimed four handguns and two rifles, Anuzis boasted of two, and Blackwell replied: “Seven — and I’m good.”

“In my closet at home,” replied Saltsman, “I’ve got two 12-gauges, a 20-gauge, three handguns and a .30-06. And I’ll take you on anytime, Ken.”

But in the end they blame Obama and it is always about the sex.

Republicans should’ve had a little bit more you-know-what. . . . Obama caught us with our pants down. . . . They’ve bested us. . . . We can no longer afford to talk one way and behave in another.”

John Bolton says a three state solution is the only answer; give Gaza to Egypt and give the West Bank to Jordan. He speaks of giving away Gaza citizens as if they are not human beings with any right to choose. US citizens are expected to pay for this manoeuvre…forever, apparently. If by West, he is including Canada; he can …. off.

Let’s start by recognizing that trying to create a Palestinian Authority from the old PLO has failed and that any two-state solution based on the PA is stillborn. Hamas has killed the idea, and even the Holy Land is good for only one resurrection. Instead, we should look to a “three-state” approach, where Gaza is returned to Egyptian control and the West Bank in some configuration reverts to Jordanian sovereignty. Among many anomalies, today’s conflict lies within the boundaries of three states nominally at peace. Having the two Arab states re-extend their prior political authority is an authentic way to extend the zone of peace and, more important, build on governments that are providing peace and stability in their own countries. “International observers” or the like cannot come close to what is necessary; we need real states with real security forces.

This idea would be decidedly unpopular in Egypt and Jordan, which have long sought to wash their hands of the Palestinian problem. Accordingly, they should not have to reassume this responsibility alone. They should receive financial and political support from the Arab League and the West, as they both have for years from the United States. Israel should accept political and administrative roles by Jordan and Egypt, unless it intends to perform such roles itself (which it manifestly does not).
