I found exactly one: Do you remember that conservative blonde on The West Wing, the one Sorkin dreamed up (I’m guessing) to offer a counterpoint to the general liberal drift of the show? (The actress is now on CSI Miami; I forget her and her character’s name.)

Anyway, she’s the sole public representative of conservative thought with more than two brain cells to click together–and she’s (a) fictional, and (b) dreamed up by a liberal.

No. And I don’t say this lightly.

For years, I listened to ‘wingnut idiots, thinking (good Liberal that I am) it’s just this guy [or gal] who’s a jackass; it’s a fluke that the only representatives of conservative views I ever see/hear/read are well-dressed morons; someplace, somewhere, are the real conservative voices, the brainy ones who can represent their side with cogent, thoughtful arguments.

Caught a short summary of Ms. Bush interview. She really did not like the shoe-thrower. Really a bad news day as all the killing continues. Maybe you and the Pres. can spend your time in New Orleans mending some of the damage that you have wrought. Give up the SMU libary and invest that money is good works, restoration of all you have destroyed. The last 8 years have brought terrible shame and damage to this country; you may try to deny the facts for the rest of your life. From time to time some evidence and truth will break through.
