Let’s all take a little time and just laugh out loud. A lot. Happiest of holly days.

I forgot about this!
Thanks and a Merry Merry, Christy!
thanks for the laughs christy
Well, here’s my offering of seasonal cheer (is that what this is?) from Nashville.
Seems like a 31-day orgasm would be a tad draining.
Nice!
Christy, here’s a doll house for ya (some assembly required).
Thanks.
Steve! A Canadian Homey…! Mele Kalikimaka, Suz, Christy, and Ya’ll…! ;-)
Silver Bells
Silent Night
Mele Kalikimaka, CT.
Mele Kalikimaka…! However, it’s not a bright Hawaiian Xmas day, we’ve had at least an inch of rain so far today…! ;-)
I’ve got two inches of perfectly smooth ice covering my entire driveway. I gingerly idled the car out of the garage this afternoon and nearly slid sideways into the house. I’ll gladly trade places.8-P
That’s quite alright, I’ll deal with the warm rain…! ;-)
Those are the kind of conditions that drove me out of Denver and into the beach communities of the Gulf of Mexico.
I’ll be back, I need to peel and cube the one holiday tradition my wife absolutely insists on, mashed Butternut squash that runs about $2 a lb here in the Isles…! Ham and Turkey are looking and smelling divine…! ;-)
Eartha Kitt died today. One of her most famous songs was Santa Baby.

Digg it
We know
Let me know if you change your mind. The good news is we’re supposed to get more sleet and freezing rain later tonight. Theoretically, we’re to have highs in the ’50s the next two days. Doubt if even that will be enough to clear it.
Ya, RIP Eartha.
Harold Pinter, in his recorded lecture after being awarded the Nobel Prize in 2005. RIP

Cute. A dog shoplifting a rawhide bone.

I saw where he’d passed on but had no idea he had expressed such a sentiment. RIP Mr. Pinter.
I saw that earlier. Clever pupper.
The lecture’s a barn burner.
In central Illinois if you slide off the road your biggest concern is clipping a utility pole. In Colorado you’re apt to find yourself at the bottom of a ravine. Think I prefer to take my chances here.
Thanks for the link, that looks like a very worthwhile website.
I was just reading the part about Raymond Seitz’ rationalization of carnage and destruction wreaked on Nicaraguan civilians by contras. Wow, you know people in our government think like that but to read an account of one actually articulating the concept…
In Shock Doctrine Klein quotes a number of the players articulating the need to eliminate the opposition to the forcibly installed economic measures. Nothing could be allowed to hamper the “clean slate” concept.
Heh, Segments of the Big Isle are now under a Flash Flood advisory…! ;-)
I just noticed we’re under a flash flood watch from tomorrow afternoon through late Saturday. Big rains expected, then back below freezing. I’m past ready for Spring to be sprung.
Love it, thanks! GOod tune too.
A disquieting notion I’m trying to block.
Are you sure “hominy and peas” is an appropriate subject for this blog? ;-)
Have great holidays.
