I hope everyone’s Holiday Season is going better than Norm Coleman’s this year. Although strangely, a bad Holiday Season for Norm makes my Holiday season all the merrier.

Do we applaud or hiss? I think he’s comparing apples and oranges, myself…

The coffee,tea and hot chocolate are ready, and I’ve made the family’s recipe for gingerbread today. I think it’s the best gingerbread in the world, so do try some. (There’s a bowl of whipped cream if you want to put a dollop on top, or add to your coffee or hot chocolate…) We’re planning on a quiet day at home, with the possibility of a nap or two. Have a joyous day.

Merry Christmas to all…It’s supposed to warm up here…Im waiting….Those trees. Please. I think they only got tacky later. We had one for awhile…we and the cats thought it was wonderful. At the least the cats wouldn’t climb that one…lying by the fireplace would do while watching the whirl of lights. Thanks for reminding me….my mother really enjoyed it for awhile as well. All, please have yourselves a merry little Christmas.

You all need a link to Garrison Keillor who can really teach an audience how to sing the Minnesota Rouser with some sense of AUTHORITY.
President Obama will get Ruffles and Flourishes once we get past noon on Jan 20th, everytime he opens a door. But the Rouser is much shorter — much more direct. More to the point. Everyone needs to know how to welcome Senator Al Franken wherever he goes. It has been a long hard but fair slog.
