…someone unwilling to repent of their homosexual lifestyle…

From the cached section of Warren’s website.

Soooo, does that mean that Saddleback and other fundie churches have programs like Scared Straight for LGBT folks?

So, Ann Coulter thinks she pisses libruls off more than any one? Ha! Not George or Dick or Nancy or Harry? Reminds me about when Lennon said the Beatles were more popular than Jesus, except he was kind of kidding. Oh, Ann. You’re just so full of…yourself.

She thinks Palin’s best quality is that she pissed of liberals, not knowing, apparently, that liberals like me think Palin’s the best thing that could happen to the GOP.

Her fingers still work. Don’t know which weapon is worse, her mouth or her little hands. But the message comes out the same: ugly.

Perhaps Palin’s year is 2012, but I would recommend that she take a little more time to become older and wiser. She ought to spend the next decade being a good governor, tending to her children so none of them turn out like Ron Reagan Jr., and reading everything Phyllis Schlafly, Thomas Sowell, Ronald Reagan and “Publius” have ever written. (She also might keep in mind that HUMAN EVENTS was Ronald Reagan’s favorite newspaper!)

The only point of copying the entire paragraph was to put the use of “Publius” in its proper context. How many of the lizard brains who read Coulter know who Publius was? (Hint: see The Federalist Papers)

Don’t know which weapon is worse, her mouth or her little hands.

That is because both are connected to her pea sized brain.

Good morning all. Thanks for the swim BT.

I’ve got an idea that was her operating the turkey guillotine in the background for Palen’s last interview. The desguise was pretty effective, but the nasty, grinning leer gave her away.

Morning all! If Coulter wasn’t hiding because her jaw was wired shut, where was she? Enquiring minds want to know and it would be the media’s job to speculate.

Anyone want to hear a good heart story?
I had told folks here about an 18 year old boy from my church who was raising $ to refurbish the old church bus, which they were going to just get rid of, to send to an Indian Tribe in Arizona. He needed 6 K to fix the engine. He raised 10 K. Is getting it painted too, filling it with 100 back packs full of school supplies and food and clothing. People from all over heard about his project and have been sending checks. How groovy is that?

Wherever it was I wish she’d stayed. The woman has absolutely nothing constructive to say. Her reading list in the paragraph I posted leads me to think her critical thinking skills are sorely lacking.

“I’m opposed to redefinition of a 5,000-year definition of marriage,” Warren told Beliefnet.com’s Steve Waldman. “I’m opposed to having a brother and sister being together and calling that marriage. I’m opposed to an older guy marrying a child and calling that marriage. I’m opposed to one guy having multiple wives and calling that marriage.”

I guess he’s not too fond of ancient Egypt or any of the other cultures that existed 5000 years ago that allowed all those “marriages.” Using Warren’s 5000 year old definition a wife is a chattel.

Has anyone read Richard Cohen’s op-ed in the Post today. This might be the first time that I agreed with him.
I can understand Obama’s desire to embrace constituencies that have rejected him. Evangelicals are in that category and Warren is an important evangelical leader with whom, Obama said, “we’re not going to agree on every single issue.” He went on to say, “We can disagree without being disagreeable and then focus on those things that we hold in common as Americans.” Sounds nice.

But what we do not “hold in common” is the dehumanization of homosexuals. What we do not hold in common is the belief that gays are perverts who have chosen their sexual orientation on some sort of whim. What we do not hold in common is the exaltation of ignorance that has led and will lead to discrimination and violence.

Finally, what we do not hold in common is the categorization of a civil rights issue — the rights of gays to be treated equally — as some sort of cranky cultural difference. For that we need moral leadership, which, on this occasion, Obama has failed to provide. For some people, that’s nothing to celebrate.

Off to swim in the great capitalist cesspool so I don’t have to resort to shoplifting a jug of single malt. Don’t have any pockets big enough anyhoo.

Be good to yourselves, and all other living things.

Coultergeist posits that The First Dude is a member of the Steelworker’s Union. In this case, that makes the Palin’s the salt of the earth.

Coulter uses union membership now to sell her regular folks narrative to her readers. Coulter and the Palins will work to bust the unions later after they are no longer personally beneficial.

So in the video clip, Mike Rogers says the exact same thing, about three times as he takes up all the time, where LGBT activists scored a victory by getting Warren to change language on a Web site. He is aso happy this issue is getting so much attention now as well. Bridges are being built.

Now isn’t it possible that Obama realized that all this would happen by picking someone like Warren? Given Obama’s history, going all the way back to the Harvard Review where he did similar things, I think the odds are good that this was all part of Obama’s calculus in picking Warren.

Seems pretty wise to me.

The piece on W celebrating his accomplishments is another “don’t read.” Proves more of his divorce from reality and illegal practices. Warning: it is still scary.
